Jacob Fans - Brace Yourself

A new still has been released showing Jacob and Bella up close and personal. 'New Moon' fanatics will be excited to see a sneak peek at the relationship that builds between the beauty and the wolf... or should I say shape shifter.
While reading the books, did you hope that Kristen Stewart's character would end up with Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner? Did it every shift?
And while we are on 'Twilight', here are a few pictures of Peter Facinelli greeting some fans and signing autographs at Forbidden Planet in Dublin, Ireland.
I like Jacob and I'm glad that he was there for Bella when Edward left, but I'm happy that she chose Edward in the end. Jacob got to annoying after awhile.
Jacob got annoying because Stephanie didn't really want anyone to actually want Bella with Jacob. He was, for her, the rebound guy. she was meant to be with Edward and everyone was going to know that always. Which is one of the things I didn't like about how Jacob was written. He was the rebound, the guy Edward learned to trust with his love's safety, so long as things didn't get anything more than that. and he was written like a yipping puppy.
I would have rather he'd been given a fair shake in the books and I hope that this photo is a scene that the movie is going to do it. its much more believable for Bella to say 'screw you edward for leaving me' and move on and then have something happen that revives feelings not based on some vampy power but real love.
as for the "I'm still reading" folks, this is the risk you take. perhaps you should stop reading about the movies.
oh and how long does anyone think it will take before rumors that Kristen is cheating on her 'true love' Rob with Taylor to surface, cause of headlines like this one. I give it a day tops

I havent read the books but it seems from the first movie that she is so madly in love with Edward that she couldn't dream of another guy so I'm kinda interested in what happens for her to make the switch to Jacob. By the way I think his hair is a lot better when it is short rather than longer in the first movie.

I too was hoping that she would end up with Jacob, more for the kids and 'family' thing that Jacob as a person :) Jacob appeals to me more than Edward...

OMG! i just cant wait any longer *screaming* is gonna be such a rush going to the movies and sitting down getting mad at everyone who's talking thru the commercials and all. I just hope that i can just sit down enjoy it and not have this ridiculously high expectations and end up fustrated.

Every single time I've read the books, I flipflop between Edward & Jacob. They also released a new promo shot of Jacob (with the wolf pack tattoo) today - it's nice but I can't say hot because Taylor's not even 18 yet! Yikes! Icky! I am SO excited that New Moon's Comic Con panel is on Thursday!!! Edited to add: Has anyone else been watching Peter in Nurse Jackie??? It is so good and he's hilarious!!!!

I never wanted her to end up with Jacob.. it never changed. But I never hated him, only in the first book... and a little at the start of the second.
Man, this photo makes it look like a freaking love triangle and it's not! Jake is just...there. Sure, it was nice that he was there for Bella in NM but the whole story is about Bella and Edward, Jacob is just a friend.

While reading the books I was always annoyed is Jacob. Bella had her mind made up and he made her doubt that decision.
I was always team Edward. he was a much more interesting charcter than edward and i'm so glad bella chose him, though it kinda seems like she never really had a doubt who she loved more!! TEAM EDWARD!!!

I think Jacob deserves someone better than Bella, so I'm happy about how things turned out. She and Edward look nice together and Edward is good, but Jacob is so much better. He's so sweet haha

I love Jacob and i've read the books and yes,he is too good for Bella but it's good to know that in the end there is someone for him.Edward's tedencies to always be perfect seems to good to be true.It's irritating because everybody has flaws which is why I love Jacob.Guys tend to be irritating sometimes even those we love.
i think that it is like she explained in the book.
If Edward hadn't existed like he was supposed to Jacob and Bella would have been together. They are soul mates in a natural way.
Where as Bella and Edward are soul mates in a bigger way, because technically they weren't even supposed to exist for each other.
I truly think that Bella loved Jacob, but that the only way she would have ever ended up with him would have been if Edward had died in 1918 like he was supposed to.
And that scene where she sees the kids and the life she would have had if she chose Jacob is the way her life would have ended up if Edward wasn't changed.
Anyway....great pic! can't wait for the second trailer!
