Jermaine Jackson Doesn’t Want Michael To Be Buried With The Bad People

Jermaine Jackson doesn’t want his brother Michael to be buried with “bad people”.
The former Jackson 5 bassist wants the singer to be laid to rest at his former Neverland ranch and not in a public cemetery.
He told Britain’s The Sun newspaper:

“I think it’s a great possibility Neverland will be his final resting place. We have to think about security – we can control that there. In a public cemetery we couldn’t.

“The options are Neverland or the main cemetery in Los Angeles. I’m totally against the idea of a public cemetery. I just don’t like it. He’s done so much to make the world special – and he needs to be somewhere special. He should be somewhere where it’s safe and where he isn’t sharing the ground with other people who are not good human beings. At those places they bury people who have done bad things in their life.

“Why should he be in the company of these bad people? He should be by himself. His world is Neverland.”

I will say this – the man is grieving and during that process the mind forgets and is illogical. Jermaine knows that not everyone buried in a public cemetery has done something bad in their lives, but I think he has a great point about security. It would be the safest bet to have Michael’s body protected at all times.

I wonder when the Jackson family will stop being so blatantly obvious about wanting to profit from Michael, the way they come up with something new every day. And it’s not that MJ was a saint, far from it.

  2. Gisela says:

The only reason Jermaine and Joe want MJ to be buried at Neverland is because it will generate income. Just like Graceland did and still does for Priscilla and her daughter. Priscilla took Graceland and made it into what it is today. Joe and Jermaine are desperate to make the money; MJ was tired of supporting his family. After the Pepsi accident, he didn’t want anything else to do in regards to supporting them financially

He did say some people not all people. I definitely agree with the fact that his body will be more secure in a place were they can control the security.

after all it’s just a decaying body and not MJ anymore…I don’t understand why they making such a big deal about his burial in the eye of the whole world.

this family is disgusting…and i hate the fact that MJ is now a saint after his dead….for years he has been trashed by everybody who had the chance

OMG you hit the nail on the head. I do get this vibe from Jermaine. I always have.

I don’t know, from what I understand the particular cemetery he was going to buried at had other celebrities buried there also. Maybe no one of Michael’s caliber?? It’s funny how some people say Michael would want to be buried at Neverland and others say he never wanted to step foot in that place again after the police went through his house. Where is his body currently?? The whole thing is so bizarre. Almost a month after passing and he still isn’t buried yet. It’s really something else.

I’d quite like to see Wacko Jacko buried in a glass coffin. Usually when a stiff gets to the really gassy stage of putrefaction, the skin becomes black before the the whole stinking mass explodes under the pressure (unless the maggots have already come to dinner). Shamoan!

OMFG! That is the wierdest thing I’ve ever read! You’re from Europe, right?

  9. Michael's friend says:

Dear Dotty – Seek help – professional help! Just follow the yellow brick road to the closest psychiatrist you can find and throw yourself at their mercy. If they can’t help you, only God can! You are not a very nice individual are you? I hope most insincerely that I haven’t damaged your self esteem. Shamoan, indeed!!!

I thought the problem with burying him at Neverland was that it’s illegal in CA to be buried anywhere but a cemetery so they need to get special permission for that. I could swear I heard that more than once on CNN since he passed away.

  12. Sylvia says:

The problem with burying him underground is that we don’t get a chance to see his skin resume its natural dark colour during gas putrefaction, usually just before the whold stinking mess rips apart under pressure and splats the glass coffin like a baby in a microwave (unless, of course, the maggots have already come to dinner). Shamoan!

I thought Neverland was tainted to him after the 1st trail. Why bury him somewhere he did not want to be.

  14. kepenny says:

I agree with mlhorres – didn’t MJ TELL his family that he never wanted to return to Neverland after the trial?

  15. Lizzypoo says:

That’s insulting. The public is not all bad people. I completely agree with Neverland and not a public cemetary, but not bc of him being holier than thou. I think eventually making a Graceland like tourist shrine would be a very good idea. ~ Liz ~

  16. merce369 says:

They should decide such a private matter within the family and do it without announcing it to the public

  17. DonnaJ says:

Are drug addicts bad people? Are child molesters bad people? Just wondering.

  18. Anonymous says:

Addiction doesn’t make you a bad person, just responding.

  19. ALmostEviL says:

That’s what I was going to ask.

  20. CapturingLife says:

I do think it’d be fitting if he were buried at Neverland Ranch.

  21. supia says:

well this issue definately needs thinking. while Michael Jackson’s posthumous safety is important no doubt, I believe Michael Jackson made it clear he didn’t want to be live in Neverland again as it was tainted after the trials, hence he hasn’t lived there for years. so why Jermaine thinks Michael Jackson should be buried there….hmmmm..i think Janet and Katherine needs to participate in the negotiations.

  22. jenrowley says:

I think that the Neverland Ranch would be a great place for MJ to be buried. The problem is the way Neverland Ranch looks right now, they would really have to fix it up a great deal. I do think that if Neverland Ranch could not be fixed up and made into a shrine for MJ, that he should be buried in a private facilty with security. As far as Jermaine making the comment that MJ doesn’t need to be around ‘bad’ people in a public cemetary, that was wrong. Not everyone in a public cemetary is bad; I think he needs to rethink what he said and apologize.

  23. Monica says:

That is a good idea. I agree! A Neverland shrine would be beautiful

  24. Anonymous says:

totally agree. lumping drug addicts with child molesters is a huge stretch.
