Mischa Barton is thankfully “making improvements”.
A representative for the former ‘O.C.’ star – who was sectioned last week at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being placed under a 5150 hold -has claimed she will return to work as early as next week.
Craig Schneider said:
“Mischa is improving and still under care, with the intentions of being able to resume production on ‘The Beautiful Life’ next week."
Schneider did not release any more information about Mischa’s medical condition.
Shooting of US TV show ‘The Beautiful Life’ – in which Mischa plays a supermodel who struggles to cope with the pressure of the fashion world – has been postponed until July 31 after it was claimed the sets were not ready.
It has also been reported program bosses are considering lining up a double for Mischa is case she is not well enough to film.
Hopefully, this will all be over shortly and Mischa will find herself again.
Well, she’s in the right place, I hope she goes to rehab again, and seek counseling as an out patient. She went on a 3 day coke binge!!? She knows better!
I don’t get it, Tara Conner has been to rehab, she gets counseling and she’s recovered! Why is it that the Mischa got caught up in a haze of coke like that, and yes she was in rehab?! Why can’t these so called troubled actresses just go away already? If they aren’t high out of their minds, they’re arrested for something. You know these unruly actresses doesn’t deserve to work in Hollywood at all, they should be turning hamburgers at some local McDonalds!
Ok, so Mischa goes to the hospital for being a junkie and now she’s gonna play a pill-popping model on T.V.? That is so stupid, they should recast her role. Why doesn’t she just start taking take care of herself and go to rehab?
Wait, she has to be held down for 4 days under the 5150 hold but now all of a sudden she’s ready to go to work? Nooo… she needs to sit her ass HOME and get mentally healthy again.
How do you go from rock bottom to ready to work in less than a week?
I think she needs to take a break and focus on her mental health, and not stress about work.
