Cameron Diaz Isn’t Ready For Kids Just Yet

Forget that you’ve seen Cameron Diaz as a mother in ‘My Sister’s Keeper.’ Just because she played one on the big screen doesn’t mean she’s ready for the experience in real life!

“Making a movie about being a mother doesn’t make me want to rush out,
get drunk, get married in Vegas and have babies,” she says. “I don’t
really relate it back in that way. I’m just living life. I’m very
fortunate to do what I do and I’ve just been indulging in that. It’s a
blessing. I feel like I have an extraordinary life and I just want to
carry on that path.”

She gets to travel the world, mingle with the rich and famous and wear amazing designer clothes…yeah, I’d say she’s right that she has an extraordinary life. :) However, when/if the time is right for Cameron, I’m sure she’ll think her life with kids is just as extraordinary.

I’m sorry – I didn’t read the story or the comments, and I love INO, but WE KNOW SHE DOESN’T WANT KIDS YET!!! Sorry….

  6. merce369 says:

WOw, this is becoming very tiresome.

her shoes are awesome! anyone know what kind they are?

  8. lara jane says:

They need to quit asking her when she’s going to have kids because I’m sick of hearing about it! (And I don’t have a problem with her answer, it’s all just very tiresome!)

  9. Lose That Girl says:

Funny you mention this because Cameron was cited in the new issue of ‘Maclean’s’ magazine (Canada’s version of ‘Time’) as one of Hollywood’s ‘new breed’ (pardon the pun!) of stars who don’t want kids — period. She’s quoted as saying that she has more friends now who don’t have kids than those who do, and she likes her life as it is, thanks. Why is it that people believe everyone should have kids? Some just don’t. Doesn’t make them any less of a person. And the selfish argument is so not on!losethatgirl blog

its really a personal decision to make i don’t think its anyone’s business to continue asking her. if and when she decides to have any its really up to her.

  11. jesse says:

It’s also entirely possible that she wouldn’t think her life was as “extraordinary” with kids. I know a few moms that are downright miserable most of the time w/ all the work that raising a child requires. They love their children, but it seems to me that they were much happier before.

  12. DonnaJ says:

    Loving the shoes!

  13. CereliaF says:

We always seem to be on the same wave link with comments. I’m liking the shoes, too.

  14. bgduckie_01 says:

why do they keep pressuring all these actresses who are almost 40? they either have them or they dont. they ask them as if they haven’t realized they are getting older and have no babies yet.

  15. sweet kiddo says:

who cares if she wants to have a kid or not? she can do the heck she wants… they should stop asking her that question, it’s personnal

  16. bumbabee32 says:

if she is okay with her decision to not have kids..why does she keep talking about it?!

  17. Nanea says:

Because stupid male chauvinists posing as journalists who don’t have any imagination ask her again and again at press junkets?!

  18. megegers says:

    those shoes are HOT!
