Miley Cyrus did an interview recently and opened up on a few things like whose Hollywood career she really admires and as well as her musical influences.
On which actresses she likes:
I used to love all the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movies. They were my
favorite. And now I love Jennifer Aniston because she can do kids
movies and she does a lot of fun movies, but then she also can do ones
that are for an older audience, too. And that is what I would like to
do, stay in touch with the kids and then be able to do more mature
movies, too.
LOL. Miley has such a deep singing voice that she also said her influences are all men!
I love Coldplay and the Killers and John Lennon – all dudes, because I
have a low voice. I do, I like that sound because it is a little more
edgy.
Could you see Miley ending with a career as successful as Jennifer Aniston’s?

I wouldn’t mind if Miley disappeared completely, but she signed on to be repped by CAA recently, so she will be around for a looong time.
I have a feeling she’s going to be around for quite a while. Can’t say I love her but hey… every generation gets a couple of stars nobody else understands.
She may end up successful, if she don’t end up pregnant or in rehab by 20!!!!!
As successful as Jennifer Aniston? Miley can buy and sell Jennifer; I don’t like her but there is no denying the fact that she’s made hundreds of millions and she’s 16. Way more than JA is ever going to make and in a wider variety of genres. Whether she hangs onto it is a different question.

*** FYI Jen has millions every year from friends. she doesn’t have to work if she doesn’t want to. so the fact you’re saying “she’s (Miley) made hundreds of millions and she’s 16″ is nothing really because she doesn’t get all those millions… disney does. i’m not hating on Miley because my nieces like her and whatever, but stop hating on Jen.

I started reading the entertainment section for awhile because the news that I may lose all access to close the Medicare gaps in coverage as a paraplegic may soon evaporate because I’m under 65 was depressing me every day. At 53, I’m hardly in the fan base age group for Miley, but I think she does have a lot of talent and really belts out those songs. She also seems incredibly grounded, and imagine she’s pretty normal in her private life – I don’t see a Lindsay Lohan future for her (BTW did Lohan ever get a movie offer – I know she was complaining). I don’t see why everyone seems to get so worked up about Miley – she’s a teen star, making enough to last a lifetime now, but I see a true desire to work and think she will be around a LONG time, making even more money.
I also love the Olsen Twins. She has great taste in celebs
