Katherine Heigl is ready for babies...but maybe not quite yet. She doesn't want to have to sacrifice her career for her kids.
"I would really like to be a mother. I've always wanted to
have children. From the time I was old enough to understand the concept
I wanted a baby. So we will get there but I don't' want to give up my
career. And I don't want him to. I want to be able to have it all but
what does that mean? I don't' know what it means."
Is it possible to "have it all"? Moms out there, what do you think?

I kinda feel it's a way to say she wants to leave GA again.

I think it'd be easier with a tv show, when you're coming home to your family every night, rather than a film where you're gone for 3 months.

You said it perfectly. I don't know what it is about her, but she makes my skin crawl. I hope her career takes a nose dive into the sewers of Hollywood. I am usually a very nice person when it comes to celebs, but I am telling you, there is something about her that is not right. She has JOAN CRAWFORD written all over her face. No Joke!

Have-it-all... Hmm. I think that having it all really just means being happy with what you have. If you love your life then you have it all already. Sadly, for some people it will never be enough.

I guess you have to define what your priorities in life are before you decide to have a child. And I don't think she is ready for kids just yet. Note--no wedding ring.
I love the comment about being happy with what you have... As a working mother, I know you can do both but there are sacrifices made in both areas. No matter what you decide to do with your time, there are still only 24 hours in the day.
