Mariah Carey Not Dressed Up As Eminem In Obsessed Video
As far as Mariah Carey is concerned, the feud with Eminem is coming to a close. She's denying speculation that the character (a stalker) she dressed up as in her latest music video for the song 'Obsessed,' is him.
"I'm like, look, when I look at that stalker and me with the beard and the whole 9 yards, I look like my cousin Chris. I do. I look like my brother and my cousin Chris. So basically, you know, all the speculation about who I'm playing in the video, it's not accurate."
I don't know...the resemblance is pretty uncanny, right?
The whole dressing as a guy for the video was actually Nick Cannon's brainchild.
Well, I live for a disguise, but ... I love the anonymity of it," she
said. "But actually it was Nick's idea, 'cause we were going after
different comedians, comediennes."The thing is that Nick was like, 'Why don't you just play the stalker?'
and I'm like, 'I could do that 'cause I've been acting lately,' I've done a lot of different things and I'm very proud of
the work that I've done lately, but the thing is that this was the
chance to work with Brett Ratner."
Do you think Mariah is actually telling the truth -- that the Obsessed video wasn't meant to be a dig against Eminem?

I don't know, Eminem may not have a goatee, but he certainly carries himself the way she does as this "character". Plus, it was Nick's idea? Nick who was feuding with Eminem over Mariah? And the title is "Obsessed". It may not look like him, but those are alot of coincidences.

Knobs! This song was made to diss eminem. So, yes, she did want to look like eminem. The song is her reply to Eminems "Bagpipes from Baghdad". Even in the music video of obsessed, they say "Would the MC please stand up?"

Go check the music video. At 3:36, when the stalker hides his half-side of his face (hiding the beard) , you can CLEARLY see that they tried to make her look like Eminem. I am not taking sides, but heck it LOOKS like Eminem.
if this isnt about eminem, then she had TERRIBLE timing because she knew damn well that people would think it was when she made it.......
She is very clearly talking about my favorite Eminem. She and Nick needs to take a trip to some foreign country and get far away from the media before he causes a relapse of MC's nervous breakdown or induces one in Nick. LOL ha ha.
