Candy Spelling Writes Letter To " Middle-Aged Reality Show Stars (LIKE MY DAUGHTER)"

Candy Spelling Writes Letter To " Middle-Aged Reality Show Stars (LIKE MY DAUGHTER)"

The written feud continues between Candy Spelling and her daughter Tori Spelling. It just doesn't end between these two and it always seems to be in letter form.

Candy didn't like the fact that the first time she was invited to meet her daughter was during her huge 1st birthday bash amongst hundreds of family members and friends.

The grandmother thought it should have been done earlier and in private and NOT made part of Tori's reality show plot.

And she is right...

Check out the letter she sent TMZ.

EXCLUSIVE TO: TMZ.COM
TO: MIDDLE-AGED REALITY SHOW STARS (LIKE MY DAUGHTER)
FROM: CANDY SPELLING

I
Know many middle-aged people have issues about their parents and their
upbringing. I did. My memories didn't match all those of my mother,
and, funny thing, it's the same way with my daughter.

Life has consequences. What you say is on the record. Other people have feelings.

I have a vested interest in this subject. My daughter, Tori's,
two-part season finale revolves around my granddaughter's first
birthday party and how she has made what seems like an agonizing
decision to invite me.

Cue music. Cue sideways glaces. Clue Lights.

Click here to see the rest of the letter. WOW!! What do you think about this troubled family communicating via the media?

She comes across as really immature. If my mom was the type to air our grievances to the press, I'd be estranged from her, too.

I am proud f the fact tori is not falling for candys crap- Candy thinks because she has the money she has the power and control and tori is showing she can survive without running to mommy for things. It indeed is candy who is short alot of brains adn I have known women like this who play games..tori is out there, and the grandkids seem safe and happy without the twisted mind of control games from grandma.

Tori there are alot out there who have controlling parents/grandparents- bravo to you and shame on candy but maybe she is craving that attention because if she truly cared about the kids she would be knocking on the door or arranging lunch. Have a feeling Tori cannot wait till her mother passes- mean to say but her life will be so much more peaceful- and candy probably will be as selfish in life as in death and leave it someone to carry on the spelling estate and her wrapping paper room.

she's 36 ... life expectancy is between 70-80 and she's half way there so she's considered middle age.

too sad................
middle age starts at 50.............so tori is very young..........life expectancy nowadays is 90 through 100 years old...............so get lost

Tori was a daddy's girl and Candy is a probably jealous of that. She comes off as the Cruella DeVille of mothers.

I've never been a big Tori Spelling fan but honestly I completely feel for her. I understand 100% how it is when you have a Mother that says one thing that is completely untrue. I myself have issues with my biological Mother to the point she denies she even has a child anymore (Which she was completely okay admitting till I turned about 17/18.) I have seen her shows and were she talks about how she kind of wants to just tell her mother to f off yet still has feelings of love towards her because she is her Mother. However if I ever got the chance to I would completely tell Tori to just tell her to f-off, I know I finally had to do that with my Mother. It was honestly the best thing I ever could of done for myself. 95% of my problems finally went away and havent brothered me since.

They should please all go away - Candy with her stupid letters, and Tori and Dean because they're annoying and immature.

Candy should hook up with Travis Barker, who also believes in airing out private problems on places like My Space and Twitter. I am beginning to wonder if Candy Spelling is losing her marbles. This sound like someone who is borderline dementia/alsheimer bound with the petty stuff from a past they can't seem to let go. It's like the older she gets the meaner she is, and the ones that are losing out are the grandkids. Maybe it is time for Tori's brother to get her assessed, or hire someone to watch over her and keep her away from sharp objects.

It's just all sad, very sad. I wish they would find a good counselor and work out the problems. In private.

I can't help but feel like Candy should be the mature one here, as she is Tori's mother. She's been offered an opportunity to meet her granddaughter, something she bitched about not beingng able to do. She should swallow her pride and relish her time as a grandmother. Honestly, it's ridiculous that this feud is still going on.. IMO, Candy should be the one to work things out, it's her responsibility as a parent.

Candy is a horrible mother and a lonely, manipulative, selfish old bat. No wonder Tori is so messed up.

I actually really enjoy Tori and Dean's show, and it seems as though Tori is really upset about the split with her mom. It really doesn't look like either one of them is going to make the first move to really fix things in private, so somehow I doubt this is the last we'll be hearing from Candy via the media

Gisela Gisela said:

Don't be so quick to knock Candy down, remember there are two sides to every story. Tori is not the innocent daughter you all seem to think; Candy did want to meet her granddaughter, in private not in front of the reality show cameras Tori and Dean love. Remember John and Kate? everyone was trashing Kate, until the truth came out. Now everyone is behind Kate. Candy said she was not going to the B-day party way before Tori started filming the scene; they "played" it out for the show to make it seem that Candy just decided to not show up. That is what she explains in her letter to TMZ.

I thought this happened months and months ago. Why is she only writing a letter now or did it just get lost in the snail mail and only arrived this week? I think the title says it all. What sort of a woman would write a public letter to "Middle-Aged Reality Show Stars (LIKE MY DAUGHTER)". I would say Candy needs to grow up but actually its past that - she just needs to get her ticket to the grave already and stop trying to hurt those grandkids she is trying to make us believe she cares about.

Candy Spelling is clearly more concerned with her own image than she is with her daughter's success and happiness. Advice to Tori: Stay away from that selfish, self absorbed, controlling nutbag. And keep her away from your kids. No good will come of it.
