Jennifer Love Hewitt’s comic book series is like “a very fun nightmare”.
The ‘Ghost Whisperer‘ star was thrilled and terrified when she was asked to create ‘The Music Box’, a 10-issue horror comic about an evil music box, but is very proud of the finished product.
The 30-year-old actress explained:
“The chance to create my very own comic, and a horror/thriller at that, is like a very fun nightmare come true. I’ve always been fascinated by the notion that an inanimate object can hold as much malevolent energy as a human being can. And when the two meet, or are at cross purposes, very bad things can happen.
“I’m so proud of ‘The Music Box’ and can’t wait for people to read it… with the lights on, of course!”
Are you a comic book reader? If so, would one by Jennifer Love Hewitt interest you?

I will read it. I love her and I do enjoy some comic books.
she really needs a new makeup artist — STAT! This makeup error has been happening for some events already.. Doesn’t anybody tell her how ridiculous she looks?!
I’m not a comic reader and if I was, I’m not sure I woud read this one.
Not a fan of comics
I love comics! I probably won’t read hers, though.
My first reaction was to be dismissive, but I’ve never read anything she’s written. Has she even published anything before?
At any rate, I’d check it out because I’m curious. I like comics, and maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
By the way, I’m feeling a lot of respect for her for actually calling it a comic book as opposed to trying to come off as snooty and insisting it’s a graphic novel.
Not that this has anything to do with the subject, but her face is three shades lighter than her body. Time for a new makeup artist.
lmao I noticed that too! wow her man looks stoned off his @ss
That was the first thing I noticed as well. —em’s
I was thinking she looks a lot older than 30. Yep, definately time for a new makup artist.
if that’s a dream for her to write a comic book than good for her to do something she loves
While I like graphic novels a lot, I couldn’t care less about this, because “asked to create” makes it sound like “slap her name on something a ghostwriter developed”, just like those celebs who “help design” their clothing line, perfume… whatever.
That’s a bit presumptious of you, isn’t it?
Even if this is the case, she’ll still be laughing her way to the bank.
She looks good!
She’s so cute.
