Remember yesterday when we commented on the red suit Penelope Cruz wore to the ‘Broken Embraces’ premiere in London? Well, it turns out the only reason why she wore the outfit is because her suitcase was lost on her way to the UK.
Since she had no clothes, the actress had to wear the stunning red Bottega Veneta trouser suit because it was the only thing she brought on the flight with her!
The movie’s director Pedro Almodovar joked:
“I think someone took it. I think it was taken by someone with a fetish!”
Despite the wardrobe setback, Penelope was delighted to be in the UK but admitted she has difficulty coping with the unpredictable climate.
The 35-year-old screen beauty confessed she had even prayed for the day to stay dry ahead of the film’s open air screening.
Speaking at London’s Somerset House, Penelope told BANG Showbiz:
"I love London… but I have difficulties with the rainy weather.
“I have decided it is not going to rain, I was here for many months this year making a movie and I love London, but I have trouble with grey weather so I said, ‘No, please, not today.’ So hopefully it’s going to stay like this.”
If only we all had that kind of power over the weather! LOL!
What should I say then when my suit case with the wedding suit of my husband and my wedding gown got lost and 2 hours before the wedding we shopped for clothes,but my man said that the rental wedding dress was way nicer that the original,so everything turned out for the better:)LOL
that’s still no excuse for the ugly a$$ outfit!
That is one of the most horrible things that could happen!!! I would die if I ever lost my suitcase with all my belongings. I am flying in a few days so I will be eagerly awaiting my luggage to come around on that carousel as usual.

I went to my country for a vacation with my mom and we got there completely fine thank godness since im terrified of planes. But anyways our luggage never arrieved with us it was missplace on the wrong plane and it was sent to Miami. I was on vacation with no clothes for about three almost four days. It was the worst thing that can happen to you while going on vacation. Im sure for celebs is not a big deal, i mean they can buy a whole new woredrove let alone a stupid suit case. But for me who work hard for my s.h.i.t it would be a nightmare ha.
