Jennifer Aniston And Julia Roberts On Set

It looks like Julia Roberts is done shooting ‘Valentine’s Day,’ because she’s now in Manhattan working on her next film: the big screen adaptation of the book ‘Eat, Pray, Love.’(Which makes sense, since it’s an ensemble piece so no one actor gets a lot of screen time.)

Did you read ‘Eat, Pray, Love’? Are you looking forward to it coming to the big screen?

And Jennifer Aniston was spotted still filming ‘The Bounty’ in New York City. That outfit she’s wearing must feel like a uniform by now!

I enjoyed the book, but I’m not sure how the story would transfer to film?

For some reason Jen is starting to have a laxative effect on me.

I read the book. Loved Italy. Thought India was a snore fest, and enjoyed Indonesia. Overall the book was a bit self-indulgent. I really adore Julia Roberts. She is not just a pretty face, but witty, and seems to be a real genuine person. However, I didn’t always think she had the depth to play this character, but now that I am thinking about it; the book wasn’t as deep as the author wanted you to believe it was. In the end it was a rather shallow journey by one very well-to-do spoiled chick. So perhaps Julia will do well in it. Since she is a light and fun actress. Other actresses that I thought would fit this role nice were: Cameron Diaz, Diane Krueger, Naomi Watts, Laura Dern…to name a few.

I’ve had a few friends try to get me into “Eat, Pray, Love,” but it sounds like a bunch of tree-hugging hippy crap.

I’m with you. I forced myself to read through Italy and India and had to stop. It’s horrible. Hopefully it will translate better on screen. Just because Oprah plugged it doesn’t mean it’s good!

It’s one of the best books I have ever EVER read and I can understand why your friends want to get you into it, I am the same with mine, it’s life affirming and a great read, and reread, and reread….

I read Eat, Pray, Love and loved it (Oprah is rarely wrong). I think Julia is a perfect match for the book. I predict it will be a hit. Can’t wait to see it.
