Angelina Jolie Dropped From Vanity Fair's Best Dressed List
This doesn't sound right for an actress whose fashion sense is admired enough that her stylist had designer dresses stolen the night before she was scheduled to try them on for a fitting! Yet, Vanity Fair has done it: they dropped Angelina Jolie off their annual Best Dressed List.
Brad Pitt made the list for the third consecutive year, although for the past two years he was listed in the "couples category" with Angelina.
Some people will make their debut on the list: Kelly Ripa, Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, and Alicia Keys are on it for the first time.
The list will be released in the September issue of Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands August 11.

The dresses were stolen probably because they were designer rather than because they were going to Angelina Jolie. Do you really think they were stolen because they like her fashion sense? I dont' think she should EVER have been on the best dressed list. She's been phoning it in for a year now, at least. I guess she believes her own hype just a little and doesn't bother trying. Really? A black strapless -blah- for the oscars that looks like it should have been at the prom and she thinks huge, gaudy earrings are going to reign it in? If you have all the money in the world and access to the best clothes and stylists, don't insult those who look forward to seeing by thumbing your nose.

I find most of her outfits are too matronly and old fashion....it would be perfect for someone like Glen Close, Meryl Steep and Diane Keaton to wear, but Angelina is 34 years old!! I know she is desperately trying to change her image but it's not working for her. She should not be on the best dress list at all and neither should Brad Pitt - he dresses like a complete dork.

She mostly wears black and flesh toned clothes, boring! She goes for the same shape and cut of dresses and her day to day wardrobe is all in black, there is no excitement. I think it was a good decision to take her off the list, it shows that they don't just put people on there because they are famous.

With her looks and hair, clothes actually don't mean much. They aren't her crowning glory anyway! Plus, I think she could really give a sh*t ~ obviously not her interest these days! She's too skinny. To be honest the clothes she wears does not look that great on her. When i think about people that are best dressed, Angelina Jolie is not one that comes to mind.
Why should she care about her clothes? As long as she cleans herself everyday I don't think she should care about looking hot or fashionable. Obviously the woman is not a self-obsessed woman. She has lots of kids, her charity works and her career why would she care about the least important thing in her life? She never cared about it when she was wild she certainly won't when she has better things to do in her life than being in a stupid list! Jennfier Aniston is more concerned about that kind of list because she is kind of fashionable but you can see that Angelina likes wearing simple and comfy clothes.

I can't believe people are making a big deal about this. Unless Vanity Fair posted just a partial list, only about twenty women even made the list. Half of them aren't in the entertainment field. Angelina isn't even a fashion icon. There's no Sarah Jessica Parker, Victoria Beckham, etc. Funny how nobody cares about that.

Those dresses were stolen because they were from a well known designer and originals, not because they were to be worn by Angelina. I am not surprised she was dropped, I was suprise she was ever on anybody's best dress list. The media would constantly rip into anybody that wears the crap that she wears. But, when you have her celebrity status anything goes. Nobody wants to know how to wear a variety of black, brown, grey and beige. She has been looking so boring and predictable lately. I was really hoping she would shake things up at the Oscars this year but nope--same o same o. BORING.

Don't try to make other women like Kelly Ripa and especially Jennifer look bad. Angie's done a good enough job of that. im not surprised she's not part of the best dressed list. i cannot even dare to compare her to charlize theron and jennifer aniston, who are really always looks good on whatever she wears... just look at the above pictures where she's wearing all whit pants & sorta guy suit, she didn't even manage to look great, and really doesnt look good on her. have you seen aniston wear the same thing (and the color is black) oh man! she looks fabulous and sexy, eventhough she's not showing any skin...

I personally think that when it comes to picking the "best dressed", they should take into account there everyday outfits. Then they would understand that Angelina Jolie dresses horrible. The only time she looks decent is while on the red carpet and it's because some designer gives her the dress. Her regular outfits ar as bad as they can get.
Her fashion choices are mediocre at best. she looks awful in her clothes, too skinny!

is it me or are her hands those of "skeletor" these uber skinny actress's that starve themselves to be ultra thin really look odd, like Madonna and her beastly arms...I think AJ's hands are large, bony and hideous...her head also reminds me of an alien, she is pretty just proportioned odd (very boyish like or ??....her jawline is so long it makes her head look funny....I also agree that she dresses BLAH...the all black is so yesterday and so is her change from her usual ways...come on Angie...what happend to the days of viles of blood around your neck, making out in front of the cameras and NOW your acting all matronly.....best acting job to day girl!
