Linda Evangelista Poses For W Magazine

Supermodel Linda Evangelista struck a number of poses for a photoshoot with W magazine. Linda was wearing an elaborate costume with over-sized head dress and multiple cross pendants.
I'm interested to see how this photoshoot will turn out. Looks like they're going with a religious theme. Does anyone find these pictures offensive?

Hey, Jesus freaks! It's time to get offended!

No offense taken here, but I think she looks silly.

Madonna + Jesus + Kim Cattrall = that atrocity.

No offence taken, but she looks ridiculous. They run out of ideas for fasion themes
No offense, she looks beautiful. People who believe in Jesus are not freaks; and not every freak believes in Jesus.-----

I don't find these offensive, just strange. And is it just me or is Linda starting to look matronly? Beautiful, but matronly.

while i'd like to wish you a death by a thousand cuts calling my linda matronly...she does however look a little matronly. but still, love the linda - glad she's back to show these fetuses how it's done

I see the look that they were trying to come up with, but they failed miserably. It looks cheap.

I think I should bow out of this thread seeing as how i got pummeled in the last thread on the Shialogy pictures. Seems like a lot of people on this site can't (or won't) wrap their brains around the fact that some people (not necessarily "Jesus freaks") might be offended. Having said all that, the Shia pictures seemed to me to be mocking religion, this seems to just be interpretation through fashion. Everyone entitled to their own opinion.
I don't think you should bow out of anything or any topic on this blog. We are all entitled to say what we think. There are things people say here I don't like, but I don't bash them. I only go after those who attack me for no reason. What you may find offensive, I may not. That is what makes us all so wonderful. Life would be so boring if we were all the same. OK, I'm done now.----------

You talk sh1t to everyone who isn't in your online circle of junior high! What in the hell are you talking about?!
You are just jealous because I look like Jim Morrison; and NO! you cannot join the INO Junior High School circle of friends. Sorry asshat...-------

HA! Yea, put a REAL picture of yourself. That will be the day
a pic? Why? you wanna ask me out? LOL!!!!BOOYAH!-------** I am free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally**
Booyah? It's easy to insult everything around you when you're hiding behind something.

Interesting that you post this as an Anonymous user and no profile picture....

I am not defending the anonymous poster, but we are all anonymous on these internet sites. We can post any picture we want and come up with any profile we want and no one would know the difference. Having said that, the anon posters do seem to post with a lot more piss and vinegar than the rest of us.
I agree, having your "name" in bolded pink letters doesn't make you any less anonymous than everyone else on here.
True darbi4packers, excellent point.--------

what is "booyah"?
It has different meanings for different scenarios; in this case? BOOYAH: A mocking or arrogant exclamation used to taunt a loser one has just beaten. ---------

Hey Gisela! I remember that there was an post about angelina's trip to Iraq and someone as usual had something negative to say. But one thing i do agree with you and thats the fact that everyone dont think the same and thats what makes the world go around. But i remember that i answer to your comment which you were kind enough to specified that it wasnt directly to me. Your response was that is pointless arguing on the internet with people about something that no one seems to agree with. And your totally right. But as a blogger you may know that sometimes one may want to stablish a nice constructive argument but is impossible to do with someone who doesn't seem to have the ability to understand that. The point is>>> take that same advise that you were talking about and dont waste your time arguing with someone who is not getting the point at all. Hope im not being to invasive. Btw i also think that Linda looks beautiful.
Thank you Yayi, you are correct I should take my own advice and not bother with the anonymous lunatics. ( not everyone who is anon is a lunatic). BTW...Gisela is my real name, I choose not to post my picture because I don't have to. The internet is full of crazies and there is somethings I like to keep private. I don't have to hide behind "Anonymous" like the stalker that keeps talking sh!t to me does. Gisela is my legal name, I choose to use my real name and I also choose to use the picture of the man I wish I could have married( LOL!!) You are correct Yayi, and I will take your advice; any anonymous poster that wants to attack me? go right ahead. The reason I get to the anonymous stalker is because I find a joke in everything they throw back at me. I refuse to let them get the best of me. ---------

What an accomplishment!
A person needs to know when to pick and choose their battles; from the looks of it you've lost. Give it up already, is not that serious.
Online battles?!?!?!?!?!?!? HA!
YOU seriously need to get a big d*ck in you really fast. You are in serious need of a very long orgasm. It will do wonders for you, trust me Bitch.

Why would anyone be offended? People are too sensitive.

i didnt even think about religion when i saw this at first until you mentioned it. so for me it wasnt offensive.
interesting costume choice though.

that's a cheap looking outfit

Agree, very cheap looking, but she still looks amazing. A bit older and gentler....
I find it kind of offensive. Obviously, it's meant to be controversial. Way to copy Madonna.
Nail her to the wall, put a bucket down for donations and call it a take!

damn, what set you off?
FYI, whether you guys like it or not:
Ellen Christine headpiece, Chanel gown
although you place it on the level of high school dramatic costuming, I can't vouch for the Chanel gown, but in the headpiece, there is
4 yards of silk organza
6 yards of tulle
2 yards of antique gold lace
4 yards of rayon lace
15 yards of 19th Century gold wire, bullion ribbon, pleated
42 gold leafed rose appliques
2 dozen silk roses, some gilded
Sewn by hand, not glued, for those of you crazy for glue guns out there.
Certainly taste is a subjective, and not an objective quantity. You are all entitled to your opinion, but as a Catholic, and the milliner who designed and made the headress, I humbly submit that she looks effin fabulous!
the only offensive thing about this picture is the fact that Christian Lacroix, the designer who made this dress, is almost bankrupt. Why are the Christian Audigiers of this world successful while the Christian Lacroixs are not? Sadness all around!
it might not look half bad without that ridiculous hat on. and somebody is bound to be offended by this, people always find a way to blow things out of proportion. I guess that's just what our world has come to.
offensive??? why.
as a church-going roman catholic, i am not offended by the attempted reference to the blessed virgin. as seen in her "photo" on the tilma of st. juan diego (which is on display at mexico city's cathedral), the mother of God has a lovely face, a small waist and wears a flowing, non-gaudy dress.
