Lady Gaga has been asked to strip for PETA.
The ‘Poker Face’ singer – who is known for her outrageous fashion choices and skimpy outfits -has been approached by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to star in their ‘Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur’ campaign, according to the NY Post.
If she agrees to pose nude, the 23-year-old star will be the latest in a string of celebrities to show her dedication to the cause.
Actress Eva Mendes, supermodel Christy Turlington and former ‘Baywatch’ star Pamela Anderson have all previously teamed up with the organization.
Lady Gaga – real name Stefani Joanne Germanotta – showed her anti-fur dedication recently when she appeared on a US TV show wearing a coat made from ‘The Muppet show’ star Kermit the Frog soft toys.
She said at the time:
"I really loved this one because I thought it was a commentary on not wearing fur, because I hate fur and I don’t wear fur."
Who can forget that coat?! LOL! But what do you think about Lady Gaga’s elephant hat? I mean – WHERE DOES SHE FIND THESE PIECES?

I know this is going to be hard for most of you to grasp but try. What if Gaga is using this whole hermaphrodite crap to create scandal about herself? To make herself more interesting? Titillating. Shocking. Going where no other pop star has gone before. Put a little Vienna Sausage in the skivvies at a concert and just wait for the gossip to start. She’s probably laughing her ass off. I don’t like her music even though she does have a good voice. She dresses outrageously because that keeps people talking about her. It’s the oldest trick in the book. People are so easy.

Leather is a byproduct of the meat industry. While the meat industry is still cruel, fur is mostly an industry in and of itself for only one purpose, fashion. Many animals are skinned alive and left for dead when their skin is taken. It is inhumane and frankly, BARBARIC. I don’t believe in harming animals at all but the senseless suffering in the fur industry needs to stop as it is not a necessity of life.
I hate GaGa. She may be talented, but I really don’t like her music at all. She also is just obnoxious with her outfits and stuff. Sorry, but I have to mention the nose… That is one heck of a beak.
