'Real Housewife' Bethenny Frankel Isn't A Fan of Gwyneth Paltrow
If you disliked Gwyneth Paltrow's GOOP video of the actress deboning a chicken, then you weren't alone. 'Real Housewives of New York City' cast member Bethenny Frankel didn't hold back on her feelings about it.
"I’d rather staple my eyelids shut than watch Gwyneth cook," the reality star and 'Naturally Thin' author reportedly told the New York Daily News' Gatecrasher at the launch of her bottled Skinnygirl Margaritas at the Montauk Yacht Club in New York on Saturday."

"Gwyneth is afraid to [reveal] who she really
is - she’s so manhandled by publicists and managers," she continued. "Her show would be way too boring to watch."
Do you agree with Bethenny on this?
And why with the public venom for Gwyneth? Maybe because Bethenny has been approached about doing her own cooking show. I don't know if the best way to build your own project is tear down someone else's, but the biggest thing Bethenny probably did was get people who haven't yet watched the video to go to GOOP and check it out.

She is right, about Paltrow. Is not only Bethenny, Vanity Fair had a very funny parody on Paltrow's Goop crap. Is really funny. I dislike Paltrow because she is trying to be something she is not, while looking down on the rest of us. She is a snot and a pretentious c*nt. Yes, I called her a c*nt. .---------

I have been so perplexed by this whole Gwyneth/GOOP hatred thing. I have always found her very likable. Every interview I've seen her in, she seems so down to earth, which isn't what we always get from people who have grown up so privileged. I don't find her site pretentious either. She is pretty well aware that she's a celebrity and that people will take a certain interest in her life, whether it's what she wears, or how she cooks. So, she puts it out there to share with people. What in the world is WRONG with that? I don't get it.
Personally I think what Bethenny Frankel said was in poor taste, which frankly is no surprise. Although I doubt Gwyneth Paltrow knows or cares who she is or what she thinks.
As for Vanity Fair, what in the world did she do to them.
EVERYONE'S out to tear others down thinking it will somehow elevate themselves. It's a shame.
I agree Gwyneth is both boring and pretentious, not a good combination. Of course, I don't hate her, but dislike the way she comes across and presents herself. As for her site, I visited once and it was mostly impractical for my lifestyle. I already know how to cook chicken and potatoes. Other things are simply too expensive or time consuming. If you like her- fine, but this is a gossip site and it is perfectly acceptable to express opinions about celebrities--good or bad. That is the reason these sites exist, if people don't like that then don't visit celeb gossip sites. Just my two cents!

I like Gwyneth....sure, she can be a bit uppity at times, but i think she's great. If I remember correctly, she hosted SNL a few years back and she was hillarious! that changed my opinion of her. And I love the Real Housewives too, but sorry Bethany....you are kinda out of line there. ***annie***

I watched Gwyneth's video and thought she came across as very likable and professional. I think she should have her own cooking show. I would definitely watch.

I watched a couple of her videos on her site and actually liked them. I thought she came across like a real person (shocker) who wanted to share that many things aren't as overcomplicated as may be thought. Wow, the fact that someone has manners and education and uses them labels her an ice queen is rather disconcerting. Ms. Frankel just comes across as bitter that she's not getting more attention. Very sad to have to knock another down to stand a little taller. But then again, from what I briefly saw of the NY Housewives, it's par for the course. Probably why I don't watch or listen to their drivel. Bitter, party of one...your table is ready.
I actually liked the cooking video. It was relaxing. If she had a cooking show, I would watch.

First of all, I love Gwyneth....However, I think that the real reason the public has such a problem with her is that she is coming off as a "know it all". I think that she seems like an elitist and that she is sending a message that she is more fabulous than anyone can attain..but if we want, here are some tips for you commoners to try to become more like me..... I still love her, still love to see her in magazine pictures and in movies...but maybe not as a wanna-be life coach, as good as she may be. Also, I have a HUGE problem with anyone that acts like living in the USA is a chore. Does anyone remember when the fabulous Ms.Paltrow made comments on 2 seperate occasions about how England and how Spain is far superior in their ways of life and living and how...repressive...America is?? I mean, COME ON. She can take all her money and live many different places, but to slam the place of her birth and the place that has given and made her celebrity...get over yourself Gwyneth!

Bethenny denies her comments of Paltrow, but that drunkin' media pig was probably just that, "drunk" at her party on Saturday night and probably loose lipped those words right out of her big non-stop obnoxious motor mouth. To me a cooking show should be appetizing and relaxing to watch with maybe a little bit of humor thrown in, but with Bethanny's hyper personality, unappetizing appeal and downright horrible, sarcastic, nasty humor and personality, I would definitely rip the eyes out of my head before watching any cooking show or any show for that manner that she would be on. I despise all of these reality fakes and like to comment every chance I get on how sick this world is that people are exposed to many of these horrendous useless shows (Not all reality shows are that way...i.e. The biggest Loser which at least encourages people and helps them live a healthier lifestyle and promotes something positive to the human condition.) like THE REAL HOUSEWIVES SERIES!!
