Celebs On Set

I love getting a glimpse behind the scenes when there are pictures of celebrities shooting scenes (as regular readers have probably figured out . Here’s Anne Hathaway filming for ‘Valentine’s Day.’ She’s ditched the bike for a much more sedate dress and heels. The shoes must not be too comfortable, though; you can see that sometimes she’s wearing Ugg boots instead.

And here’s Zac Efron shooting a scene for his film ‘The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.’ Zac turned down the lead in the ‘Footloose’ remake for this film instead. Here’s the plot:

Charlie St. Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his
younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the
cemetery in which his brother is buried. Charlie has a special lasting
bond with his brother though, as he can see him. Charlie meets up with
his brother (Sam) each night to play catch and talk. Then, a girl comes
into Charlie’s life and he must choose between keeping a promise he
made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves.”

This role sounds like a chance for Zac to show his acting skills! It’ll be a savvy move as long as Zac performs well. I’ll be interested in seeing how it turns out.
