Celebs On Set

I love getting a glimpse behind the scenes when there are pictures of celebrities shooting scenes (as regular readers have probably figured out ;) . Here’s Anne Hathaway filming for ‘Valentine’s Day.’ She’s ditched the bike for a much more sedate dress and heels. The shoes must not be too comfortable, though; you can see that sometimes she’s wearing Ugg boots instead.

And here’s Zac Efron shooting a scene for his film ‘The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud.’ Zac turned down the lead in the ‘Footloose’ remake for this film instead. Here’s the plot:

Charlie St. Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his
younger brother. So much so that he takes a job as caretaker of the
cemetery in which his brother is buried. Charlie has a special lasting
bond with his brother though, as he can see him. Charlie meets up with
his brother (Sam) each night to play catch and talk. Then, a girl comes
into Charlie’s life and he must choose between keeping a promise he
made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves.”

This role sounds like a chance for Zac to show his acting skills! It’ll be a savvy move as long as Zac performs well. I’ll be interested in seeing how it turns out.

Communicating with the dead always sounds interesting to me. I’ll probably check it out. Sounds like a better role than a remake of Footloose, that’s for sure.
