Jerry O’Connell The Lawyer?

Jerry O’Connell has enrolled at law school.
The 35-year-old actor has signed up for a course at Los Angeles’ Southwestern Law School and is looking forward to starting his studies.
Assistant Dean of Public Affairs Leslie Steinberg said:
“He is very excited to be starting his law school education here at Southwestern. He just had orientation last week, and he started classes this week.
“He was very impressed with the faculty and the vibe here. This is brand new to him as well. He's very much looking forward to his education.”
Jerry – who has seven-month-old twin daughters Dolly and Charlie with wife Rebecca Romijn – underwent the usual enrollment process, handing in an undergraduate record and taking a test.
Leslie added:
“I get the feeling that he felt like one of the students at orientation and had a great time and is really diving in.”
The actor is on a part-time course, although his representative has not confirmed if he will act while studying.
Jerry’s fellow students are delighted to have a famous classmate, with one already expressing delight on Twitter.
“Actor Jerry O'Connell is at orientation @ Southwestern Law School. He is an entering night student, mingling @ mixer (sic).”
What do you think about Jerry studying law? It's a tremendous commitment, but I guess his family is in a situation where he can go to school for a while without negatively affecting their bank account. Rebecca does just fine on her own.

Good for him. Knowledge is power.
Good for him, he only gets crappy B movie parts anyways he would be better of using his time and money to assure he has a career after Hollyweird is done with him. For Rebecca and the kids too, her career is not too hot either. This is a wise move for him and his family. Best of luck Jerry.

Good for him and how refreshing.
I hear he is super nice in person... so will probably fit in better than Ashley Judd at Harvard, last I heard she had a no-approaching-her clause sent out to staff and students.

I agree. Good for him if that's what he wants to do :)
I think it's great! No one has to do one career for their whole life. It's never too late to change---and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. Practicing law will give him more career longevity than acting would, and there's no expiration date on learning.
