Sarah Chalke Is Pregnant!

LOVE her. I am so happy for Sarah Chalke and her fiance, Jamie Afifi. Her rep just confirmed that she is pregnant with the couple’s first child! She and Jamie have been engaged since December of 2006. So I wonder if they’ll make it a priority to walk down the aisle before the baby comes, or wait until after the birth.

Anyone else hoping that the writers of Scrubs will find a way to work this into the script? Sarah’s character Elliot is OBSESSED with having a baby and I think seeing her pregnant would be hilarious.

I wonder why everyone seems to be so obsessed with people getting married just because they are having a child? As long as the child is loved and cared for what does it matter if there is a piece of paper stating that the parents are legally bound to each other. A marriage certificate is not the same as making a promise to love and raise a healthy child together.
