This was an announcement I didn’t see coming! While Brad Pitt was talking about his very adult movie ‘Inglourious Basterds’ with Ann Curry (including the wonderfully graphic comment that "people lose some hair"), Ann said he should do a movie his kids can watch. Brad countered with the announcement that he’s doing just that!
Brad will provide the voice for Metro Man, "a superhero who wants out." It will be for the animated film ‘Oobermind,’ costars Will Ferrell as the villian Oobermind, and is scheduled for a November 2010 release.
But Brad made it clear: the story is not autobiographical.
"It’s just something [my kids will] enjoy," he responded, "and that’s cool."
Are you interested even if Brad won’t actually be on the screen?

Ugh. Brad Pitt and Saint Angelina are such fucking phonies. He’s a stoner and she’s a goddamned junkie but they want the world to believe that they and their heavenly brood embody perfection itself. It will be interesting to see what happens to those two mental midgets after their holy union finally falls apart.

That would be awesome. Anyway, for sure you already know the rumor regarding Will Ferrell look alike. It quite funny to imagine how Chad Smith really looks like Will Ferrell. Smith evidently has t-shirts that say “I’m Not Will Ferrell” that he wears in public, and supposedly has even been asked for autographs by fans believing him to be the über-famous SNL alumnus. Since Ferrell has become so famous, Chad Smith would likely give money to get people to stop confusing them.Chad Smith, if anyone recalls, is the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and he looks like Ferrell – so much so that he could work as a stunt double.
