Report: Celine Dion Pregnant With Second Child

Is Celine Dion pregnant with her second child? Ok! Magazine and The Montreal Gazette are both reporting that the singer is expecting. Rumor has it the couple went to a fertility doctor for a little help with the process.
The Montreal Gazette reports that Celine, 41, and Rene, 67, became pregnant with the help of a team of fertility doctors in NYC. The couple have yet to officially confirm the news on Celine’s official web site.
No rep confirmation at the moment. Celine's first child René-Charles was born in 2001.

A 67 year old father? While that's neat and all, by the time the kid is graduating high school, his dad will be 85 or 86. That's not cool. The kids' friends' parents will be 30-40 years younger.

Rich people dont apply :p

I agree. The child wil inevitably grow up without a father or at the very least with an elderly father. Why don't rules of common decency and forethought apply to the rich and famous?

Unfortunately not.

I really don't see this as a "common decency" issue. How can being a father in your 60s be indecent????? I just don't get why people think this is a orrible thing to do to a child.

that;'s wonderful....God Bless

Wow, she really waited a long time before having her second, I thought for sure that she wouldn't have anymore. Good for them!

I see she still hasn't cut her boy's hair. What is up with that? I thought that he would bet so bullied as soon as he started going to school that she would do him a favor and cut it, but i guess not.
So what? Are all boys supposed to have identical haircuts now? I think it's time to broaden your horizons!
fvck you!.. you cvnt faced wh0re!
It's an old picture. They cut his hair! It was really funny in fact because M. Angélil win an award in Quebec (were there from) and all the press was talking about the new René-Charles's haircut instead of the award!

CUT THAT BOY'S HAIR STAT. He looks like a mini Meatloaf. I hope to god she's not having more than one...all we needs is another litter of celebukids.

It's public knowledge she has had embryos frozen at a clinic in NY since the last time she was insemminated - the result being her son Rene Charles. She has spoken many times publicly about going back to the clinic to "retrieve" after she finished her tour. As for the picture. It appears to be an old one. I remember that designer suit and cover-up I think from about a year or so ago. If she is pregnant - God bless her and congratulations to her and her family!

Has it occurred to you that maybe she decided to wear the same outfit more than once?
300 points
Of course she may have worn it more than once but with swimsuits it's pretty much highly unlikely. And I doubt seriously her child would be standing right by her just like in the old picture. The family was on vacation at the time.

That's a swimsuit???
who cares that her son has long hair. get over it. if thats the way he wants it then so b it. she doesnt need any of your approvals on how she keeps her sons hair. congrats if she is pregnant. her son is cute and appears happy and thats all that matters. some ppl r jokes with what they write. "cut that boys hair stat" ya im sure she's going to come on here and read that and think oh some person iv never meet who opinion doesnt matter to me im going to listen to. celebs r allowed to wear something more then once. god forbid they do that and act normal. cuz im sure u wear something more then once

take a pill, honey.

Wow, you really got up on the wrong side of the bed!!! Of course we don't expect her to read this site and seek our approval. You are taking this way too seriously.
That boy's hair needs to be cut. End of story.

boys with long hair seem to be the trend...look at kate hudson, cindy crawford, elle macpherson even one of angelina's boy (pax??) and of course celine.

There is a such thing as TOO OLD to be having a child. How silly...
7255 points
Really? I assume you are referring to her husband, right? He beat a very serious battle with cancer which delayed their ability to conceive. I think it's wonderful that they're having another child.

See my reply above. Would you have wanted your dad to be 85 when you graduated?
7255 points
I would have wanted my dad to simply be alive when I graduated, but that's not the point, I know. I honestly don't think age matters here. If he's fully committed to being the best father he can be, then I say
"more power to them".
My dad was 65 when he had me. He died at 98 and was not only a great father but a wonderful grand-father to my 3 children. We remember him fondly. Judging is a waste of time, you don't know. Let people be.

Wow, I honestly thought she was a lot older than just 41! I have to agree with Manimal too, by the time the kid(s) grow up, their dad is either going to be too old to really be an active part of their lives or not be there at all (don't mean to sound gruesome). Granted tons of people grow up without a parent, but to make that decision knowing he may not be there is... I don't know... just not smart.

I, too, thought she was older than that, but we have to remember that she started her career so young that it seems like she's been around forever.

Congrats to the family if it's true and very healthy pregnancy to her
I can't help thinking that all that is not natural... I don't care if she is preggo or not, her bussines but saving frozen embryos, really old parents, high-risk pregnancies and c-section... where is the wonder of conception and birth. It's not how nature intended, everything is engineered, like s-fiction came true when you think about it.
If you can't have kids naturally, adopt, I did, no regrets...

You should graduate to the 21st century. Evolve!
