The on-again, off-again couple is apparently off-again. After two splits (with two filings of divorce papers) and their last reconciliation in May, Robin Wright Penn filed divorce paperson August 12.
Some people were saying her comments in More magazine about her marriage were made before they reconciled last May but maybe not. Here’s what Robin told More:
[T]he actress told More magazine that she had no plans to
reconcile with her husband. "I hit that crossroad a while ago," she
said. "I know what I don’t want."[F]riends tell More
magazine for its September issue that the couple had a "peculiar
chemistry." Penn Wright herself said, "I, we, have two amazing children
we raised together."
Their two children are nearly adults: Dylan Frances (18) is heading off to college this fall while Hopper Jack (16) will soon do the same.
Robin and Sean Penn started dating in 1989 and married in 1996, so I can see where it would be hard to make the final break. Hopefully they will be able to do what is best for themselves and their family.

Sean is a coke fiend, he is the subject of numerous blind items. She just needs to leave him already, the kids are old enough to understand and be ok with the divorce. Too much drama.
well at least they gave it a try. it’s healthier to be divorced than being with someone that makes u miserable.
