Really Lady Gaga? Really?
Lady GaGa did her best vampire impression, shielding herself from the daylight as she left Heathrow airport earlier today. The singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, arrived at Heathrow Airport wearing vampire teeth, a thong leotard, a leather jacket sporting the Star of David and fishnet tights.
Just what I was planning on throwing on tonight!

Her attempts at being edgy are quite boring. It reminds me of 15 year olds who wear too much Hot Topic to try to rebel and get attention.

Love the Lady GaGa........... if you thing she has no talent you haven't listened to her CD. She is so unique in a crowd of wannabe singers that all look, talk & dress the same. Breath of fresh air she is.

I have most certainly listened to her CD and my opinion remains the same: she is talentless. Also, this person isn't doing anything that hasn't been done before; take Wendy O Williams and the Plasmatics or Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons. I can go on, but I think you get the drift. She is by no means original or unique.
Right, and those people got it from others. Everything in pop culture is a repeat of something someone has done before, just with their own added flair. Elvis was copying black musicians, The Rolling Stones were trying to be blues musicians, Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs tries to be Wendy O...it is ALL the same. The thing that is different with Gaga is that she does the punk visuals with pop music. So much more interesting than another pop tart posing and preening in the same boring way (like Britney, Beyonce, etc.)

She poses and preens just like any other artist (and I use the term loosely), she just feels the need to show her ass and wear way over the top outfits so that people actually take notice of her. If it weren't for her outrageous outfits most people wouldn't even know that she walked the earth.

I have listened to her cd and I find it as boring/over produced/generic as all the "wannabe singers"....
Oh, but she has to infer to everyone that she is a "gay icon".....though I don't know one gay male who doesn't see through her crappy act.

She might be annoying sometimes or say things I don't agree with (wanting a threesome with the Jonas Brothers), but she entertains the hell out of me.
Sure her music is generic pop garbage, but this girl is still seriously talented. I watched an acoustic performance of Love Game on youtube, and my jaw just dropped. She can REALLY sing and her piano skills are like Elton John level.

Love Lady Gaga! She is so wacky, it entertains me. She said that her new release of her cd will have a "monster" theme to it, so maybe that explains the fangs.

up until now i've been very indifferent towards her, but she's starting to annoy me. YEAH, WE GET IT....she's "such an artist." i'm tired of hearing about how "different" and "innovative" her music is. while i agree that she has vocal/musical talent, her songs sound like every other pop song that's come out in the last 20 years. they're decent pop songs, but not phenomenal.
And I would like to know where the talent is at? Did she hide it under her bed? All I see is a half baked pop tart with money to fly around the globe, indifferent to the economic status of most of that world. I bet she truly hates her little fans.
The fact that she annoys people will be her downfall. She is taking this too far and it's obvious she doesn't understand what balance is all about.
And talented? She has the exact "lazy" voice that everyone else coming out nowadays do, like they are too tired to sing and they get breathy. THAT IS NOT A GODDAMN TALENT .

I thought it was very strange that she would be allowed to dress this way in public as well. Too bad I didnt have the guts to try it the next time I flew. But then Im sure I would end up a padded cell at YYZ begging to be allowed my one phone call and miss my flight. Being dressed this way for a concert or other event is one thing - doing it in a public place is quite another. Give it up already.
Man, all I have heard from this very unpleasant girl is an album about her fame or some BS like that.......where is the album where she shows her talent? Could someone please find that title and post it? I would be so appreciative!
Could someone also help me find the "great acoustic versions" of her songs that are not from the game fame album and post them? The only videos I seem to be finding are tired, rich girl high school over the top versions of those fame songs. When she plays with her feet, I think even Elton John is embarrassed for her.
I felt so sorry for her audience in Israel! I have never seen so many embarassed tween boys when she asked them to get their "MFing c****" out for her to look at....not cool. The room went dead. Isn't she supposed to be about dancing or fun or something?

I think maybe she is really into Alexander Skarsgard. She was making out with him in one of her videos. She said he was a good kisser, and he plays Eric on True Blood (he plays a vampire). He is a very sexy man.
I am going to defend her though. She did write songs for Akon, Fergie, pussycat dolls, Britney, and New kids on the block. she could have gone to Juilliard school, but instead went to some Catholic school where she learned Piano at a very young age. So she knows how to sing, dance, write catchy songs that make lots of money, and she can catch our eyes and make us comment on her. I think she wouldnt be insulted by these comments, she would be flattered.

ive listened to her cds too and i keep listening to them, not for her voice though :/. her songs have a good beat.

i have to say that though gaga is young she is very talented. i think without over analyzing and picking her apart-her music is sweet and cool just like she probably is. sure she might be all about her but good for her. she is different---inspiration usually comes from the past--so what she isn't the most original person in the fu*king world but she is doin her thing and laughing all the way to the bank while you sit here and are HATERS......

You are right with one exception. Karen O is unique, she isn't emulating anyone.
