Zachary Quinto joined STRIDE gum at Video West Arcade in Glendale to support “Save the Arcades,” a campaign which honors the long lasting tradition of arcade gaming. The goal of the program is to rally gamers nationwide to join in the fight to save this endangered and beloved species, one arcade at a time.
Consumers can get involved by logging onto Savethearcades.com to play an online-arcade style video game, with their points scored benefiting one of four (4) featured arcades from around the country.
The winning arcade will receive $25k courtesy of STRIDE gum!!

Save the arcades? Only those who didn’t waste tons of quarters on a 30 second game would be for it. There is a reason they went away.
I spent so many weekends at the arcade during my high school years. The one by my childhood home closed a long time ago. It would be sad if they all disappeared.
