Julia Roberts Works On 'Eat, Pray, Love'

Julia Roberts gives the paparazzi a playful shrug, like, "Dude, I don't know what's so interesting that you have to get a picture of it." Because it's you, Julia! She looks very summery, doesn't she?
And below Julia (now in black) and co-star Viola Davis shoot a scene for their film, 'Eat, Pray, Love.' They're shooting in Manhattan. Did you read the book? If so, are you excited about the film?

I tried to read this but just couldn't get into it at all. I don't think I made it past chapter 2 or 3. :( But I hear everyone rave about it. Maybe it got much better after a few chapters?

I haven't read the book, but love Julia in the black suit photos posted above. Not real thrilled about the flowing flowery summer top, though.

Love her floral top! She's so cute - can't wait to check out the movie. Hope it's worth it!

I read the book and it spoke to me because I, too, like the main character was going through a messy divorce this last year. Yeah, we didn't have kids, yeah we were still successful... But, it saddens me to see they're making it into a movie, though. I don't know why, it just makes me sad. Sorry.

Me too. Sad to see it made into a movie as this book is one of my all time favorite books and having it made into a movie with herself in it just makes me angry because I feel like it will be commercialised and just... stripped of its meaning. I would hate for ppl to start conversations about EAT, PRAY, LOVE by: yeah, I didn't read it but saw the movie.
BUT DO NOT FORGET TO SHIT IN TIME.

I hate the floral top, she looks so matronly. I used to think she was pretty but she seem to lost her look.

Capturing Life - the book did get better. For me, it totally lagged during the India part..I actually walked away from it for a month or so. Then when I picked it back up, I found the India part (yoga) to be the most meaningful It was just a little hard to digest.
I'm not a Julia hater...but I swear if she cackles through this damn movie....know what? I won't go see it. I like Diane Lane, but I thought they ruined Under The Tuscan Sun when they made it into a movie. Nothing like the book. Eat Pray Love will be a Julia feature...look at my big grin...listen to my laugh..I don't really think it will be Julia ACTING because the studios have learned that the audiences pay to see Julia be Julia.
Damn, I am bitter. I think I should go to bed, lol.
