Britney Spears Takes Sons To See The Little Mermaid On Broadway

Britney Spears was seen out with her sons, Sean and Jayden, as well her father, Jamie Spears, leaving the theatre after see the Broadway show 'The Little Mermaid' in NYC. What fun! Disney shows on Broadway are MAGICAL! I haven't had the opportunity to see this particular one - but have seen a few others.

Have you had a chance to catch 'The Little Mermaid'? There are only so many shows left. August 30th is the last one!

Glad to see she got dressed up for the event. She is so trashy its gross.

It is quite interesting how you can judge her. I wonder if you give yourself the same level of judgement.

First Cast the Mote Out of Thine Own Eye!

Defense mechanisms are always unconscious and people are unaware that they have them. People often see their own attitudes and behavior as "normal" and overestimate the worst in others. People who project see others as bad while excusing the same traits in themselves. They often assume a "False Consensus Effect" which is believing that others perceive things the way they do. We all have a bit of projection in us, but some people have the need to blame others big time, thus obstructing their own growth and learning. Ok edit: Aside from the flip flops (she should have worn flats) I don't think the outfit was bad, as yesterday was HOT here in NY.

For her taking her kids to the show, I think it's great. They don't seem to do anything with their father anymore, so its great their mom is making the time more fun for them. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Britney get 50% custody at the next hearing.

It really bugs me that no one dresses for the theater anymore. Back in the day people wore gowns, furs, and tuxedos. And opening night at a show was a HUGE event. Photographers, journalists, and red carpets. Obviously, people don't need to go that far these days, but a nice skirt and blouse or dress would be nice! Those theaters are BEAUTIFUL and filled with history, have a little respect!

I know people have talked negatively about her dad, but if it wasn't for her dad Britney would've been dead now.

People wear whatever they want to shows and I honestly don't care much about it, as long as it isn't a bikini and flip flops I'm good. Anyways back to the show, I actually went to go see the Little Mermaid and was not very impressed. It seemed really corny to me, but then this was my first Disney Broadway show so I don't have anything else to compare it to. Idk in my opinion it wasn't great, and my sister wasn't overly thrilled about it either. However whoever did the role of Sebastian and the yellow fish did a fantastic job!
