Gillian Anderson Says Yes To Third X-Files Movie

Dana Scully will be back!

There was a little uncertainty about whether or not Gillian Anderson would appear in the third ‘The X-Files‘ movie, but the actress has removed all doubt by confirming her role.

“Of course I would accept an offer to appear in a new ‘X-Files’ movie. There isn’t any reason not to do it.

“I feel a commitment to that group of people I worked with and we still enjoy doing it. There is no reason not to come together and do it again. If they can pull it off, we’ll find a reason to make it.”

Any X-Files fans?I don’t know why, but I never got into the show. Everything about it is right up my alley, but it never sucked me in.

Are you excited to hear that David and Gillian will reunite once again?

Love the X-Files. I miss the show but as long as they keep making movies, I’ll keep watching.

The husband and I are both X-Files obsessed but the last movie sucked so I don’t know if I’d see a third. Probably a renter.

i hope they do! huge xfiles fan… can’t wait for something new

  5. Padme says:

It better be a better movie than the last one. The last one was just awful. No story at all, it was just an excuse of a film showing Mulder and Scully.

I don’t think the second movie was awful, it just wasn’t a summer movie. Plus the trailer made it look like the movie was about aliens and it wasn’t. I would love a third movie.

The x-files is a really good series. It asks a lot of questions i have personally asked myself from religion to aliens to government conspiracy. For me I think alot of it is actually possible. Who is to say we are the only life in the universe an also. HELLO! Annunaki! all makes since to me. TV shows are not made like they use to be. Nothing wrong with being 23 and watching

  10. Manimal says:

There’s always a market for the X-Files. I watched it a lot growing up; my dad was a huge fan. He’d definitely see it. Love me some Mulder and Scully.

I love the X-files, which I guess is weird with me being 23. Most of my friends think I’m weird for liking it, but to each his or her own. <3

So glad to know if there is a third film, they’ll both be back as you couldn’t do a film without “Dana” OR “Fox”. ;)

  12. Manimal says:

Why is liking the X-Files at 23 weird? I’m 23 and I like it. I guess I don’t get it.

  13. Tanis says:

I was never really into the X-files, I didn’t think the last movie did very well, so I am surprised they would make another

  14. DaleJuniorAmp88 says:

I only thought it was weird because I’m the only young person that I know that liked it. Glad to know I’m wrong and others do too. :)

  15. sweet kiddo says:

growing up it was my fav. show . i had to see it week after week but quit after david left the show (couldn’t bother ..wasn’t the same)
the movie was simply a waste of money for them ,it was beyond boring but i’d be willing to watch a second one only to see those two again having that amazing chemistry

  16. Heli says:

I didn’t like the last movie. I doubt I’ll see the next one…

  17. DonnaJ says:

I’m a total X-Files junkie. I still can’t listen to, “Wonderful, Wonderful” without being transported back to the Peacock family.
