Janet Jackson Writing Tell-All Book

How timely.

According to In Touch Weekly, Janet Jackson is writing a tell-all book about her famous family. The singer is having a hard time dealing with the death of her brother, Michael Jackson, and is writing the book to help her heal.

The subjects covered will range from her weight and self esteem issues to growing up Jackson.

She is going to talk about Michael's death and how it's affected her and his children and the rest of the family… A lot of it will focus on her battle with self-esteem and weight.

"She's a huge success. But that's not always what she has seen when she looks in the mirror, so the book will talk about how she has coped, and about her family relationships. She wants to help other young women out there.

Would you be interested in reading Janet's book?

I think it's disapointing that she'd write a tell-all book. I wonder if it was her idea, or her hungry lawyers/reps urging her to make some profit.

She looks normal in these shots. Somehow her face doesn't look so 'worked on'.

'Writing a book to help her heal'....riiiiiiight. I'm sure it has nothing to do with publicity or money. If she was writing purely to heal someone should introduce her to a journal or diary.

why does she have so many insecurities? you'd think she be outgrown that by now. that's all I ever hear about her...she's so shy, she's the quiet one, she has low self esteem, she's always struggling with her weight. stop being a victim and grow up.

I highly doubt this is true. She's extremely private (for pete's sake no-one even knew she was married!) and it's In Touch magazine.

I doubt this is true too, she's pretty private

Exactly. The most private person of the Jackson family writing a tell-all book? Don't think so... Have you seen her speaking about anything since her brother passed away? And before that, she always avoided talking about him and her family. She's not Latoya... In fact she was furious with Latoya when she wrote her book.
These nonsense tabloids should focus on those Heidi and Spencer people and keep writing crap about them.

really? i thought she was really private about her life and family...hmmmm.

Well.... being private is her common trait...but, her beloved brother is now dead. Michael and Janet were very close compared to the other siblings. Michael was very supportive of Janet. Michael jump started her career by getting music exec McClain involved, hence the fabulous "Control" album. Now Janet wants the world and his fans to know the impact of his death on her and the family.

One more thing, the girl, I am sure is struggling with MJ's death. Remember she and a few others were involved back in 2007 trying to do the intervention for Michael with his drug issues. When that failed, Janet, I am sure was beside herself with grief on how to deal with Michael and his addictions. Now that he has passed...there is always...What if?

This "tell-all" book has been talked about for just under a year now... LONG before Michael died, she was writing this book, so those of you who think this is about making money off of Michael; get it together... Since when does she NEED to make money off Michael? When has she EVER made money off Michael??

I don't think she would speak ill of Michael since SHE defended him when the rest of the "family" was nowhere to be found. It was HER who had his back when everyone else threw him under the bus.

If this was anyone else in the Jackson family I would believe it, but I can not see Janet writing a tell all book. I think she'd sooner get hit by a train than tattle to the world about her life or blab Michael's secrets. I also heard that a reality show starring the Jackson family is in the works.

People lighten up! From what I have read so far in the news, this is not a I am telling all the Jackson secrets book. It will be a book about her perception of dealing with her brother's death with how the family is getting along also from Michael's death. Basically it is about HER regarding her self esteem issues and problems with weight.
From what I have read in this article, she wants to share her issues hoping it will help people out there with similar issues. Geez!

janet announced in october of 2007 that she's writing a book about her struggles with self-esteem and weight control. this book has been in the works for quite some time, and mj happened to die in the middle of the process.

I know Janet's book will be on top of my book list. If this book helps her heal why should people critize her for writing a book. With all the tell-all books out here, her book might be one of the most helpful to young girls like me.
