Gwyneth Paltrow Wants To Create An Empire

Gwyneth Paltrow wants to create "an empire".
The 'Iron Man' actress - who has five-year-old daughter Apple and three-year-old son Moses with her husband, Coldplay rocker Chris Martin - wants to launch a line of lifestyle brands to help women juggle motherhood with business.
A source told FOX411 blog:

"She has become a power multi-tasker, so she'll take meetings while she's sitting around her movie sets. Gwyneth wants to create an empire, but her first priority is always to her family. She is finding ways to merge the two so that other women and mothers will be able to do the same."

Gwyneth, 36, is modeling herself after Martha Stewart naturally.
A source said:

"Chris has even dubbed her meetings about her new direction as her 'Martha Stewart meetings'. Her plan is to stay visible in the occasional film, but to create products for real women.

"She is working on new products for her own beauty line under Estee Lauder and looking at different products for moms at home that she can tie to her website, GOOP."

In other words, the woman doesn't sleep. Would you be interested in this new line for women that Gwyneth is working on?

Nope. Does not interest me. I am a man, though. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Maybe.

I'm taking what she says and does with a grain of salt since she apparently thinks the world revolves around her. She wants Chris to quit his successful career to "stay home with the family". Shouldn't have married a rock star if you weren't prepared for the rock star hours.

I've seen so much Gwyneth bashing as of late. I'm a little perplexed by it. I always thought she was so nice and down to earth in every interview I've seen her in. Sure, she's lived a privileged life. It's like there's an "anti-Goop" movement that I just don't get.

I was indifferent until her comment about having "William" (Joel) over for dinner and how the oldest buildings you'll find in the U.S. are something like 12 years old or some ridiculous number like that. Yes, I realize that we don't have the historical structures that Europe does, but we do have buildings older than a 12.

I'll never stop laughing about the goop post about how to cook a meal for a family of 4, she spoke during it like she had all the answers. It's never occured to her that most woman cook dinner for their families every single night, and on the weekends, breakfast and lunch too.
And the meal looked awful, bland chicked with NO season, boiled potatoes with NO seasoning and salad with minimal dressing.....ugh.

I haven't seen this video. Based on what you've written, she sounds, at best, naive. I imagine that in another time, she would have been told the peasants had no bread and responded, "Let them eat cake!"

Hahaha, that's hysterical. She thinks other mothers won't be able to do it until she has conquered it? someone needs to give this girl a grip on reality.

I am not interested in anything about Gwyenth Paltrow, much less an empire centered around her. It's like fingernails on a chalk board...I hear her name and I start to cringe.

I signed up for her GOOP site about 3 or 4 weeks ago and I have yet to hear from her. we were suppose to get newsletter every week! she's obviously not doing her job....so I don't know how she is able to build an empire.

I wouldn't be interested. I'd normally think it's great that a person seems to business minded, but the last couple of quotes I've seen from her make her sound like the kind of stupid who is a burden to those around her. I don't want to support that kind of thing.

I like what someone said about most women cooking for their families every night, in the above comments. Yeah, her voice is so droning on that video & she calls a roasted chicken fast food. Obviously not a seasoned cook. Fast food is ravioli w/a special or different sauce. Faster food can even be Chicken Marsala or Francaise or just sauteed cutlets. Yeah, she's delusional. Martha Stewart did the work as a caterer for years and is educated. Gwyneth is just pretentious & Americans never forget the jabs. So she wants to build an empire on the backs of Americans that she's insulted. Bon Chance!
