wow! she did a great job
))
So why didn;t she take off her hat??? That is just rude and unpatriotic.
she sounds great.
because she looks damn hot in that hat
I grew up on the ball field and men always take their hats off and women do not. Women are ladies and the same rules don’t apply.
Phff.. None.
Go ANGELS!
“God Bless America” is a lovely and patriotic song but it is not the National Anthem. We have done several google searches on this question and the best advice seems to be that hats should only be removed for that song and for the Pledge of Allegiance, and that removing your hat for “God Bless America” is disrespectful to the National Anthem. Perhaps Clarkson is more patriotic and traditional than others here are suggesting. There is tremendous peer pressure to remove your hat for this other song. Notice however, that the Yankees play God Bless America during the seventh inning stretch and if you listen carefully you will note that the announcer does not instruct that “gentlemen remove their hats” as he does when introducing the National Anthem.
You can definitely see your expertise within the work you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. All the time follow your heart.
It’s nice that there are still some things to which men will take off their hats.
…counting the steps to the door of my heart…
Amen.
