Miley Cyrus loves to post pictures of herself on Twitter. She is one of the few celebs who actually really makes full use of the social media tool. Two days ago the singer posted the above picture with the following message:
Just F.Y.I my legs DO NOT look like this in real life. That’s the magic of a computer my friends. Just thought I would be honest.
I think that’s great! So many of her young followers need to understand that what we see in the magazines isn’t reality.

i can see touching up a photo if someone has a huge zit on their face but photoshopping out every tiny imperfection and making bodies look thinner than they are is ridiculous.
Why is she doing that with her tongue in those pictures? Weird!

good for her saying that. there’s probably many tweens or younger girls that dont know that and want to be just like her. she still looks good when not photoshopped.
Lol, I don’t particularly like her, but this is really cool. Im guessing a lot of teens do look at her twitter, so this DOES reassure them that they looking that this is just not possible. Good for her!

All stars are photoshopped and too be honest half probably don’t even really need (or want) it anyway. But yeah as much as I loathe Miley, I’m glad she’s real about it for all her young impressionable followers.
I would love to see what photoshop could do for me in pictures. Haha

wait, my legs DO look like that in real life. NOT photoshopped. i see why miley is comended for saying that’s not really what she looks like, but some of us really DO look like that and we shouldn’t be penalized or looked down upon for taking care of ourselves!
