Jay-Z confided to Oprah Winfrey that he and Beyonce offended some people when they wed. It sounds completely unintentional, but Jay-Z said that one of the ways they kept their wedding quiet was with "late planning" and a limited guest list.
The sad part is that we offended some," he said of not inviting a lot
of friends. "But people who love you understand. Because at the end of
the day, it’s your day."
Jay-Z said they had a very small wedding at his Tribeca apartment followed by "a lavish party." Jay-Z also talked to Oprah about his past as a drug dealer and music lyrics.

Well, I totally agree with them, on this one. They are mega starts and just wanted to keep it quiet and for themselves….and let’s be honest, I bet those that WERE offended probably just wanted to be invited for the “fame” and not to celebrate the happy day. Good for them!!

well i should think so. i mean jay and beyonce pretty much know EVERYONE in hollywood, so i guess even acquaintances would’ve been bummed about not getting invited. but all the best to them =)
It’s Jay & beyonces wedding so, they can invite whoevr they want to invite!! I mean i wouldn’t invite some people either because in these days and times, everybody who smile in your face and say they’re for you are the main ones who’re praying for your downfall behind closed doors!! believe me, if anbody knows that, it would be jay & beyonce because they each have soooooooo many haters out there because their awesome God given natural talents of Singing(beyonce) & a rapper (Jay)!!

Late planning means the vendors and guest were contacted late. Folks didn’t have time to blab their mouths! That’s how they could maintain their privacy! I can respect that! Good for them!
