Kelly Osbourne Admits To Taking 50 Pills In One Day
50 pills? In 24 hours? Oh my word!
Kelly Osbourne and her “Dancing with the Stars” partner Louis Van Amstel sat down for a chat with Michael Yo about dancing, and Kelly’s struggles with addiction on E!’s “Daily 10”.
Regarding her book, “Fierce,” Osbourne says:
“It's 16 chapters of things that I went through when I was growing up like living with a mother having cancer, growing up in a family with an addict.
When asked about one part of her tome, which mentioned she took 50 pills a day.
“I got really sick. I got bleeding in the lining of my stomach from it. It was just one of those things that I had no control. I didn't know what I was doing, I didn't know what day it was. And if I can share that pain and just misery with someone to say you know, don't do this, it means more to me to help one person than to keep my mouth shut.”
Regarding what her no-nonsense partner Louis Van Amstel thinks of her dancing, Osbourne says:
“He goes, ‘I mean, you've got the steps, you're just not that graceful.’ And I went, ‘no,’ and he goes, ‘you should work on that.’”
Regarding her biggest competitition, Osbourne says:
“You know, I am my own biggest competition because when I get in my head I can destroy everything very quickly. Right now, I'm a dancer. This is my job. I'm a dancer, this is my job. I'm a dancer.”

Wow. That's a very... honest comment. She seems like she tries to be so many things, though, and she's just not. Looking forward to seeing her on DWTS though.

It seems like she has always been very upfront about every aspect of the dark things she's been through, I can really admire her for that. I am curious to see how she does in DWTS, I am equally as graceful!

I usually don't watch reality shows, but the Osbournes came before all that, and were some kind of guilty pleasure. Keeping my fingers crossed for Kelly that she's over her addictions.
50 pills of what??? If its .25 mg Xanax that isnt alot, or if it's a pill like a .5 mg of valium, again that isnt alot....could of been Catapress, Lorazepam, etc...they make very weak doses of those pills,so taking 50 doesnt add up to alot. Depends on what she was taking and how many milligrams each pill was.
I wish her the best and I really hope she did beat her addiction. She will ALWAYS be an addict, she just has to keep it in check and take it one day at a time, like all other addicts do. Just cause she has money doesnt make her any different from any other addict. She still has to follow the same rules and rememeber she will be an addict for the rest of her lifetime.
Madam X - I believe Kelly has said I'm the past that she was addicted to narcotic painkillers. I read that she was taking large doses of percocet and/or oxycontin.

she was taking Percocet 30's by the handfulls and snorting Oxy 40-80mg many times a day..One can do that without any real health problems for many years..She must have been doing this for some period of time to get the gastrointestinal bleeding. I have a feeling her diet wasn't really all that healthy to begin with and the fats in Fast Food can cause ulcers in unhealthy younger people especially when they constantly consume these pills. Mix in some binge drinking and you have a lifelong stomach problem..I really do feel for these people sometimes. It's in her genes.
