Michael Jackson Has Been Buried

Michael Jackson has been buried.
The late 'King of Pop' was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park last night, in a ceremony attended by his family and a host of celebrity friends.
Among the stars who paid their last respects were Elizabeth Taylor, Macaulay Culkin and girlfriend Mila Kunis, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Gladys Knight, Rev. Al Sharpton, Corey Feldman, Kenny Ortega and Michael's ex-wife Lisa Marie Presley.

The service was due to start at 7pm, but guests were kept waiting by Michael's family.
Their cars did not start the journey to the service until 7.30pm, with the ceremony finally getting underway around two hours later than planned.

Full details after the cute. A lot of information was released about the ceremony. Click on the continue reading link to see the full article

Michael's children Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II arrived with his parents Joe and Katherine.
They spent time with their father's casket before the service began, putting a crown on it in reference to his 'King of Pop' moniker.

The children sat in the front row, with a picture of the 'Bad' singer in front of them and lilies and roses decorating the stage.

As with the memorial service held at Los Angeles' Staples Center in July, his brothers - Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Tito and Jackie - each wore one sparkly glove as a tribute.

Michael's sisters Janet, La Toya and Rebbie were also in attendance.
Gladys sang 'His Eye Is On The Sparrow', while songwriter Clifton Davis performed Jackson 5 song 'Never Can Say Goodbye'.

After the ceremony, the Jackson brothers carried the gold coffin into the Great Mausoleum.
The family released a statement saying:

"The Jackson Family wishes to once again thank all of Michael's fans around the world for their generous outpouring of support during this terribly difficult time. Their expressions of love for Michael and his music have sustained the Jackson Family."

After the service, it is understood some of the mourners traveled to Pasadena's Villa Sorriso eatery.
Michael died aged 50 on June 25 of acute Propofol intoxication.

Thank heavens this man is finally put to rest...and the family really has a lot of nerve keeping their guests waiting like that. Its no wonder Michael was so screwed up in the head.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

@DonnaJ, how could you say that the family keeping the guests 'waiting like that' is explanatory to Michael being 'so screwed up in the head'? thats quite an obnoxious thing to say. i mean there could've been an urgent incident that needed attention or something, and here you're saying that they have 'a lot of nerve'? man, have some understanding...

Gisela Gisela said:

What urgent incident could be more important than burying your love one? Sorry, but with the normal persons yes, but with the Jacksons? is not. They knew the service was at 7pm, yet they chose to get there two hours late. They did this because they knew those people had to wait regardless; it would seem disrespectful for Liz Taylor to get up and walk out. There is no need to make people wait that long. The reason Michael was screwed up was because of the leeches of a family he had. His mother was an enabler who allowed Joe to abuse those kids. Any man who tries to hurt my child will walk away with missing limbs...just saying.

What was the excuse for his family keeping him on ice for nearly two months? Whats "obnoxious" is that people are still lending excuses for this "family".

What's with all the hostility? It would be nice if you could channel all that hostility for the Jackson and the World into some compassion and empathy. Profanity is a sign of a low level thinker; expand the mind please bring it up a notch and loose all the profanity.
Jackson's Family is experiencing an extreme trauma with the lost of their son, father, sibling, etc; therefore, any true friends waited patiently until the family arrived at the services. FYI, Mrs. Jackson and the children had a moment as they prepared to leave for the services; the reality of the finality of never being able to see MJJ in this earth is more than they took accept at that moment. I understand because I have lost a son and my Father so, I can empathize with the Jackson and understand that the private service was about the family...Not the media or the friends at the garden's convience. They could have taken Liz or any of the other guest into the mausoleum if they needed to. MRS. JACKSON WAS BURYING HER SON NOT LIZ'S SON EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE CLOSE FRIENDS. IT WAS PRINCE, PARIS, AND PRINCE II FATHER-TOO BAD SO SAD THAT THEIR GRIEF DIDN'T FIT INTO OUR AMERICAN SCHEDULE. Hope none of you never have to experience what this family had to endure. NOTE: I do not care about your personal anger and outrage — get over it and stop watching the Jackson's coverage is they are so disgusting and disappointing.

Boo hoo cry me a river, why don't you get in contact with the Jacksons? maybe they'll let you hang out with them. Not one person here is trying to take away from the family's grief. We were commenting on how long they took to bury Michael; like always the Jacksons can't seem to agree or get along long enough to decide where and how to bury him. There is nothing wrong with profanity is how your daddy and mommy got together and created you. Sex and cursing and all that good sh!t go together. I curse because I like it!! and it feels damn good.....OK? a*shole, bitch, as*hat, motherfuk*r, sh*t head...you see? It feeeeels soooooooo goooood!!!!!..............LOL!! I don't have to impress you bitch, you don't like what I have to say don't read it.

It is about freakin' time!! What was the hold up? Does anyone know? I really worry about his kids. That is stressful. Anyone who has suffered the death of a loved one...well, I think they'll agree that until the funeral services are over, it is hard to even accept it and start healing. I recently lost a friend at work, and his family had a drawn out service...they waited almost 2 weeks before his service and burial - it sounds weird but it was so difficult to deal with anything until his services were completed. It was hard to function, so making those kids wait 2 months seems really cruel to me.

Please stop blaming the Jacksons!
None of this was their fault.
There was 37 cars in that motocade and the police was calling the shots. LA traffic is a nightmare. The Police held them for better traffic conditions, as it was rush hour and accidents blocking the route. The Jacksons sat in those cars for a long time. So long, that the children who had already had a long emotionally exhausting day fell asleep, so long that their legs fell asleep. Prince Michael almost fell over when he stepped out of the car, then he limped down the aisle. Notice the police escort weren't even in place till just ten minutes before they left the compond. I dont want to play the blame game, but the facts are the facts, even when the media media ignores them. The public got their memorial, this was suppose to be a private burial. The police chief was on TV warning people and the media, saying they were paid to setup parameters, ensure public safety, provide escort, and enforce a no fly zone over the cemetery, and he claimed that's just what they were going to do. The jacksons planned beautiful outdoor sunset service, thinking only of their beloved Michael and was confident they had put everything in place to pull it off. It was very disruptive, all the noise overhead and then next day to see all the stolen videos of private moments being played everywhere by the same media who claimed they'd had enough, it's disgraceful. Now they seek to paint the Jackson as bumbling ddisrespectful idiots. Thats why they swarmed the first Memorial, they were trying to rangle everyone into a circus, and you keep falling for it.
GOOD HELP US.

Anonymous you are a beautiful caring peson; apparently most of the hateful commenters all live and have this perfect existence cannot understand that to them this was an event but to MJJ's children, parents, siblings, family, friends, APTV staff, AND TRUE ADMIRERS AND FANS this was a nightmare which has devastated and changed their lives forever. If you looked at Mrs.Jackson face it told the story of why they were late for the service on Thursday. MJ Fan club members have access to information even before the media get it; and you see haters Mrs.Jackson came apart 15 minutes before they were to leave the house for MJJ Burial services. She told MJJ's Children, her Children, and family that she wasn't going that she just could not tolerate seeing her pecious, sensitive, baby buried. 3 Children start crying uncontrollable, Janet, and the other 2 sisters all lost their composure. I understand that it took all the brothers, Mr.Jackson, other family member's from both sides to calm the situation down. After all the grief and sadness being lived out loud with the entire World watching at this moment this family couldn't take it any more. Mr.Jackson who is often critized and ridicule was able to calm Mrs.Jackson, siblings, and the children down enough finally to get entire family in the cars to leave. You see folks this is real life for the family and the feeling of lost that most of you can't understand or have never experienced - I would rather the Jackson brothers tell their own story rather than relying on rag blog post like this one to tell their story! FYI, A & E Documentary and the Jackson brother's reunion was in progress long before MJJ died and you all will see he is in the documentary which will be shown prior to the series.
