Tila Tequila Places NFL Player Under Citizen’s Arrest

Tila Tequila is tougher than she looks. According to People, Tila put an NFL player Shawne Merriman under citizen’s arrest after he allegedly choked and restrained her. Tiny little Tila!

“[Tila Tequila] made a citizen’s arrest,” Sheriff’s Lt. Gary Steadman tells PEOPLE.

The release reported that Shawne was arrested on charges of battery and false imprisonment. No decision has been made regarding whether or not the district attorney’s office will prosecute.

Tila reportedly was hospitalized; her condition is unknown. Hopefully she wasn’t seriously injured!

It could be said…to read more than the tabs on this account. In situations like this it is knee jerk to support the woman and vilify the man, however it appears that there is more to this story than Tila’s publicist is putting out.

According to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department (who responded to the call), there were no visible marks on Tila and she was intoxicated at the time of the incident. She insisted on being transported to the hospital by ambulance. The Sheriff’s deputies did not see cause to arrest Merriman based on statements obtained at the scene, but because she signed a citizen’s arrest, they had to take him in. With 14 eye witnesses plus employee statements from Stingaree already circulating, the truth will come out.

Many good men have been damaged by a woman claiming domestic violence and the plight of women and domestic abuse awareness is hampered every time a woman uses domestic violence as an excuse to get out of trouble or to gain attention. If it turns out that Tila’s claims are correct, I will eat every single one of my words, but from the overwhelming media coverage I have perused this morning, it looks like I’ll be going without lunch.

…… well… on the upside maybe the Raiders will have a chance now on their opening game next Monday night

If she was hospitalized, I don’t think it was a PR stunt. If he did it, he is a major coward. Choking a 4’11″ woman that weighs at least 200 lbs less than he does – does that make you feel like a man?
