Diablo Cody Says Girls Hate Megan Fox
As I'm sure you are well aware of by now, Megan Fox is starring in a movie called 'Jennifer's Body' that comes out this month. It was written by Oscar-winning writer Diablo Cody (who's pretty notorious herself). Diablo sat down with The Frisky to talk about 'Jennifer's Body' and it's star, Megan (along with Amanda Seyfried).
DC: She really makes people angry! Girls hate her, don’t they?
The Frisky: I don’t know, I just think Megan Fox has a funny sense of humor.
DC: I appreciate it as well. I do not know her very well. Even having worked with her to this extent, I don’t know her very well because she’s very private and mysterious. But I’ve [heard] these things come out of her mouth. I’ve been present for some of these interviews and she is totally fearless. What she is saying is completely genuine. It is not a front. I think people think she’s trying to create some kind of image for herself that she’s not, but she’s a really, truly eccentric person.
The Frisky: I think people get uncomfortable with her because she looks like Angelina Jolie but she says things that make you think.
DC: I don’t think people know how to process her at all. I think it’s one of those things where she does not fit the mold in any way and it freaks people out!

I find her annoying as a *person*, but I don't hate her. It's not because I can't fit her into a box, or whatever. It's just because we don't have similar views on... well... anything, it seems. Especially that dress with those shoes.

well i think she's a very beautiful girl but every time i read quotes from certain interviews, they sound annoying and sounds like she's trying too hard.
Women, (and also men I think) Don't care for her because she has a nasty mouth. She is constantly "biting the hand that feeds her" and putting her foot in her mouth and trashing people. If she would just be grateful for the opportunities she has been given instead of acting like a spoiled brat, I would like her. People in the "real world" have real problems. Griping that you are too pretty, look like Angelina Jolie and have to do movies is not something I care to hear about.

She often comes across as arrogant, very shallow, attention seeking and sexually fixated to me. She only talks about her looks, sex and how other women hate her. I don't believe that women dislike her for her looks, it's her attitude. She is very beautiful, I liked her before I started reading her interviews but those interviews are off putting in my opinion.

Exactly. I used to like her as well and I thought she was really beautiful but after listening to her go on and on in interviews, I really have no feelings about her either way and I don't find her attractive anymore. I'm just so over her and wish she would go away.

Hit the nail on the head, A-mum. Perhaps a bit more grace would warm me to her. Granted, she's young but where's appreciation? All I'm hearing is yeah, I'm pretty. yeah, I smoke pot. yeah, everyone wants me. yeah, so and so's a jerkoff. Whine. Complain. Whine. That kind of attitude makes her less pretty.
Who are these women that hate Megan? Women don't hate her, some people find her immature, arrogant and self centered. I have not met one woman that hates Megan. I love how some women like to justify their behavior and lack of girlfriends by claiming:
Nothing worse than the old 'other women hate me cause I'm too beautiful and they're secretly jealous' excuse! I HATE that line!!

Well, Diablo Cody also claims she wrote Jennifer's Body specifically for a female audience, so I'd take anything she says with a grain of salt. Jennifer's Body panders to Fox's lowest common denominator fans: lonely, sexually pent-up males.

I can't believe the interviewer said this " I think people get uncomfortable with her because she looks like Angelina Jolie but she says things that make you think". I've only read excerpts of her interviews but the only thing Megan makes me think about is how could anybody be so stupid.
One of those sentences in the interview must be incomplete. It says, "but she says things that make you think"; it should say, "but she says things that make you think she's an idiot."
I don't hate the girl, but I do wish she'd shut up and go away.

based on the comments about megan, she is like a small burning shrub. it has a small and very slow growth, but if it caught on fire and the damage of the fire hits the roots 9 the core of it's life) it will never grow properly. what is this girl thinking. she must be doing someone on the down-low or related to a big wig that hasn't revealed themselves , as of yet, out of fear of her mouth backlashing on their career. BECAUSE THIS B1tches career is going up in flames. some of the most talented ( TRULY TALENT, WAY MORE THEN SHE IS) is being down sized and exed out of their own careers ,because OF THEIR ATTITUDE AND THE MOUTHS.

I read the entire article and it was quite good. I normally am irritated by Diablo Cody but I was surprisingly unannoyed reading it. LOL I love Megan. I'm sure there are tons of haters out there but I'm not in that group. :)
Austin's mommy said it all.... Just shut up Megan! I'm a guy who use to find her really attractive until she started complaining about how awesome her life is. Now she does absolutely nothing for me. She's a hypocrite plain and simple. She claims to not care about what anyone thinks yet she has a pile of plastic surgery. She probably craps plastic at this point.
