LeAnn Rimes Adopts Puppy From Animal Shelter

LeAnn Rimes was spotted rescuing a Chihuahua from the Wilshire Animal Clinic in Santa Monica yesterday afternoon. The singer looked extremely excited as she carried out the little pup and proceeded to give him kisses. Does someone need a healthy heaping of positive PR? Just saying.
It's nice to see an animal getting rescued - no matter the reason.

Obviously, I have a Pug (look at my avatar), we also have a Boston Terrier. We got them both when they were puppies from a breeder. I feel so cruel becuase I think I may always want my new dog in puppy form... There are many rescues that go through my meetup.com Pug group, and while I wouldn't mind having some of them, I wouldn't be able to get a puppy... like I said - I feel so cruel...
Rescues get puppies all the time! From puppy mills, people that can't afford the vet care (maybe a surgery) that needs to be done, etc. You might have to wait for awhile, and keep your eyes open on rescues in your area (or just outside your area) but they're there! I'm forever tweeting them...

I got my dog from a shelter and she is the best dog ever!!! Never barks, has never bitten or tried to bite - even when we giver her a bath - I would definitely recommend adopting a dog from a shelter! They have so much love to give :) It's cruel to buy from a breeder when there are so many good dogs who need homes too!
There is something seriously wrong with this woman. Why is she staging DAILY photo-ops? Is rescuing a dog supposed to make us think that she has a conscience or is a decent person? If she had an ounce of decency she would stop flaunting this affair and leaking stories about how EC is moving his things into her house. For someone who gives lessons about God, where is her remorse? The more photo-ops she stages, the more damage she does to her career/image. If she won't even treat human beings with decency, what makes you think that she can treat a dog with decency? Or is she saying that she values the welfare of a dog over the lives of 2 kids?
Of course she looks excited, LeATTENTION-SEEKER strikes again. She loves rubbing the affair in BG, DS, and the kids faces. Most of all she loves telling the world that EC top priority is her money, why would he make a fuss over his wife telling the truth about his affair and then stand back and do nothing as his mistress flaunts the affair non-stop. So LR money is more important to EC,then the welfare of his kids?

Ok, I am not a fan of dogs at all. BUT I LOVE CATS!!!! I have two little babies, both adopted!! They are my loves. One is 13 (Meesha), and the other is 1 (Chester)... right now the young one has been missing for a week but I have hope he will come back. I cried for days when he was first gone. God, I love them! Thank you for kitties! Oh, I am also a volunteer during the summer at the shelter and I take care of all the stray cats and keep them happy. :) I can't get enough!!!
I have 5 dogs. I found them on the streets when they where little puppies. I'm from Chile and here it's embarassing how many dogs are on the streets. They do no harm, but the don't have homes and people don't treat them well =(

We have 3 dogs, two weimieriners (still can't spell it) & a yorkie. One weimie & the yorkie were strays. I love my stray boys! I like Ms. Rimes and all but adopting a dog isn't going to make me for get that she's a cheater!
And how interesting that she adopts a dog just as those pictures from Mexico hit the internet. So now she has Daily Mail, Star, People. NE, and In Touch glorifying the affair.

I have a registered Min Pin that I got from a breeder and an elderly Dachshund that we rescued 4 years ago. She was a mess when we got her. Now she's healthy except for a touch of arthritis. Poor thing. Love them both! My little furkids.

I don't think that ugly pooch will be enough to keep frigid LeAnn warm at night.
Maybe the dog is a gift for Eddie. She got him to file the divorce by taking him to Mexico. Maybe she is trying to get him to make a public appearance or househunt with her by giving him a dog.

When those photos from Mexico hit the internet what did LR do? Did she LAY LOW, show some remorse, or act like she has some decency? No, she stages yet another photo-op where she gloats, gloats, and gloats some more. Why would she do that? Because the media/press told her that those photos were "hot" and now she is under the impression that she can flaunt the affair/rub it in BG face as much as she likes because she and EC will never pay for what they did to BG, DS, and the kids. The media/press needs to be honest with her, the more she flaunts the affair, the more it looks like she and EC are taking pleasure in the pain they caused 4 innocent people, and the more the affair becomes disgusting. It doesn't matter how many times EC is spotted without his shirt or the media/press tells us that this is love, all that matters are the 4 innocent people who were hurt by the affair. If LR and EC can't even show an ounce of remorse or stop playing this out in the public's eye, their career/images will never recover.
What does she do when those Mexico photos hit the internet? She doesn't LAY LOW, shows any remorse, or acts like she has some ounce of decency. Nope, she stages yet another photo-op where she is gloating? Why would she do that? Because the media/press, who are out of touch with the public, told her that those photos were sexy and "hot". Because the media/press keep glamorizing the affair, she now she thinks that she has succeeded in convincing people that what she and Eddie have his love and that she and Eddie will never pay for what they did. Imagine her surprise when she get a big dose of reality. The media/press might love this affair and the manner in which she and EC are hurting 4 innocent people, but the public is tired of this nonsense. The more photo-ops she stages, the more people see that she and EC don't have any remorse for what they did, and the less people accept these two.
