Kelly Ripa LOVES INO (Exclusive Interview)
How very exciting to hear this!!
As you know, INO has several writers who help me run the site and cover NYC events. Yesterday afternoon, I was invited to attend an Electrolux conference and interview Kelly Ripa. I couldn't make it and sent INO staff member Tabitha. She had a chance to talk fashion with Kelly and guess what? Kelly said she loved INO because of how kind I've been to her in the past. Thank goodness this isn't a snarky site - that interview could have went an entirely different way. LOL! Fast forward to 2:13 to hear Kelly talk about INO.

Kelly Ripa was in Times Square yesterday, doing her part to bring awareness to Ovarian Cancer by kicking off a text-a-thon. September is Ovarian Cancer month and Kelly joined Electrolux (I hear their appliances can wash and dry in under 40 minutes) in encouraging everyone to support the cause this month. When you txt "Kelly" to 85944, you can donate $5 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. They fund research "to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer".
You can also donate by going to www.kelly-confidential.com. Each person who logs on the site will enter for a chance to win a luxury front-load washer and dryer in ovarian cancer awareness color, teal.
Kelly was summer gorgeous in a purple dress by Victoria Beckham who she couldn't stop raving about. The dress had a built-in corset so it sucks everything in and a sleek exposed zipper at the back. She wore black pumps by Stella McCartney. I also met her daughter, Lola, who was very sweet and polite.

I was going to comment on her "unnatural" looking tan as well. It prematuraly ages her. But she is in good shape, just has a really bad tan.

This site is RIDICULOUSLY SNARKY. Hello?!? Vera you are SO SNARKY you just happen to not be snarky towards Kelly. You are snotty to those you do not care for you just throw in undertones instead of being blunt about how you REALLY feel. All you care about is kissing a$$ to get your name and website out there. Kellys tan is ridiculous and it makes her look like she is 50 years old.

Right... because she reads all gossip websites and just adores this one. Puh-lease. What is she supposed to do? Make a negative comment to your face and come off as a complete biatch.
Good body, great hair, but her face looks like she's 50+...you know what they say at a certain age you've got to choose between "a good ass or a good face" (she went for the first I believe). That being said I don't think that tan is helping with the premature aging thing that's happening.

WOW I'm so surprised to read so many bad comments! Can we say HATERS?! If this was YOUR site and YOUR business I would LOOOVE to hear what you had to say. I love your site Vera and I'm happy for you no matter what some simple minded people have to say about it!
I hate to use the god awful term "hater," but I'm certainly not one of them. The thing is, when you have to explain to people how nice you are all the time, chances are you really aren't. It's a great facade to embrace, especially in the world of Perez Hiltons; but this business is based upon being snarky. It's kind of like douchebags that wear money necklaces and brag about how rich they are, when the truth is they are broke. And of course Kelly is going to say that, it's her JOB to.
I like this site for what it is, there's certainly no need to pretend.
Perhaps if you started snarking and stopped selling out to celebs, pimping products, and assaulting readers with advertising this site would actually have some legitimacy.
I enjoy this site and love Kelly Ripa (even if she is a little too tan for my taste- but its her body to do with as she pleases)

Tabitha, you look great, great dress, great necklace. Congrats Vera, that is awesome, you have a great site and this isn't the first time you were known to the interviewee. One note, if Kelly Ripa needs a corset just shoot me now, lol, I cannot think of a woman in better shape than her.
