Jerry O’Connell gave his opinion to E!’s Marc Malkin about whether or not he wanted more children, and now wife Rebecca Romijn has concurred: and she gives an interesting rationale.
“I’m pretty sure that this is it,” Romijn told [Marc Malkin] yesterday. “We feel like the world was made for pairs. Four feels like the perfect number.”
“Also, we’re not interested in overpopulating this world,” she added. “So we feel like we don’t want to leave more than we are when we leave this planet.”
Rebecca, who is one of the stars of the new show ‘Eastwick’ on ABC, said she hadn’t planned on working right after giving birth.

“I had put it out there that I just wanted to be a mom for six months and not even think about work at all. I told the powers that be if anything came across their desks that I’d be devastated if I missed out on it, to make sure that I knew about it. And [Eastwick] is the only thing I read.”
“Mother’s guilt is no joke,” Romijn admits. “I feel like any stretch of time I spend away from them, I’m worried that I’m missing out on just these little miracles. Like you watch them stare at their hand for an hour and they go take a three-hour nap and they wake up and they can do something that they didn’t do before-like wave!”
Yet Rebecca, who was nursing while shooting the ‘Eastwick’ pilot, said she is glad she took the role. Are you interested in seeing Rebecca’s new show?

She and Jerry make a very cute couple.
I like her purple coat.
LOVE THE PURPLE COAT!!! So nice to finally her a woman that KNOWS how overpopulated this world is. Good for them. There is no reason to have more then 2 kids these days.
Overpopulation is a myth!
Love the outfit
I agree with the mother’s guilt comment, it’s the worst feeling ever.
I looked it up on IMDB and it sounds like Charmed… can they come up with new ideas anymore?
