Chris Noth Is Engaged

'Sex and the City' star Chris Noth is following in the steps of his alter-ego, Mr. Big; he reportedly proposed to girlfriend Tara Lynn Wilson after five years of dating and having a 19-month-old son, Orion, together.

A source said: "It all happened very recently. This is the first time they’ve appeared in public with her wearing that huge diamond."

There's been no confirmation from a rep that I know of, but if this is true, then congratulations to the couple!

Chris Noth announced his engagement on Canadian TV; Tara is wearing a beautiful diamond ring so I think we can assume it's true. The ring Chris is wearing was his father's ring (his father died when Chris was 8 years old). Chris has been wearing that ring for many years and has nothing to do with his engagement.
