Love It Or Hate It: Drew Barrymore

Drew Barrymore attended the ‘Whip It’ premiere held at the Ryerson Theatre – The 2009 Toronto Film Festival. She must be so excited considering she wore many hats during the making of this film. What do you think about the yellow and black lace dress she chose for the event? How about Drew’s two-toned hair?

Quite a different look from her costar. Ellen Page kept things simple in a black sweetheart dress.

I dont mind the hair.. im 33 and do differant things to my hair all the time.. keeps my friends on thier toes.. and keeps things intiresting… its just hair.. it can be changed… as for the dress.. its differant also.. unfortunately.. it seems to make her look.. old… and we all know Drew never looks old.. LOVE Drew… not loving the dress.. the hair… its okay…. just lose the frizz….

  5. Newstude says:

I can’t help but stare at her boobs.. that yellow is doing nothing for her!
If her hair was pulled abck a bit then I would say cute… the fris ball she is sporting right now… not so much!!!

  6. TanMart says:

She looks really cute. Love the dress and the hair is not so bad.

  7. Morgan says:

    hate.

  8. xy mom says:

Love the dress, but she ruined it with her hair.
BTW – Her tattoo now looks like she’s a twitter fan. LOL

  9. lovebug66 says:

    HATE IT…dress & hair both! :P

  10. Del says:

She is too old for that nonsense. It looks ridiculous.

  11. DonnaJ says:

Terri Nunn reject hair and a fuggggggggly dress. Someone should sit her down and talk to her.

  12. Anonymous says:

I’m not sure what to say except it takes some serious balls to pull off a dress with a stylized vagina dentata worked right into the front.

  13. Anonymous says:

Love the hair. Hate the toothy vagina dress. It scares me.

  14. Siren says:

    Not with those shoes.

  15. Anonymous says:

Love the dress – the hair not so much…

  16. sweet kiddo says:

i somehow crave cookies dipped in chocolat

  17. audrey says:

I wonder how many of INO readers will pick up the Berlin/Terri Nunn reference. I loved her back in the 80s.

  18. bgduckie_01 says:

dont like anything. she looks a little scary.

  19. Katie Bee says:

lol, I thought I was the only one who was going to notice the part of the dress that is eerily reminiscent to a vagina. I’m not the only one!

  20. Anonymous says:

you are not alone. It was the first thing my eyes went to as in ..WTF!!!??
Terri Nunn did the hair waaaaaay better than this atrocity. This does not take my breath away.

  21. YAYI says:

    Horrific….Don’t like it at all!!!

  22. elaine123 says:

DonnaJ, who is Terri Nunn? Please, educate me.

  23. greeeneyedwhwoman says:

I love Drew and think she can pull anything off!

  24. Trinny says:

  28. supia says:

shes trying too hard to be ‘bold’. go back to being cute drew! you’re much better at that ;)

  29. Nicole says:

LOL – I had to scroll back up and find it. It does!!!

  30. Nicole says:

Yuck. I don’t like the hair. The dress isn’t too bad, but her hair is WAY frizzy and I think she’s too old for that.

  31. Anonymous says:

the hair reminds me of Pepe le Pew…

  32. Artemisia says:

    Her hair is seriously fug.

  33. DonnaJ says:

Ok, I’m gonna show my age here. LOL! The first time I ever saw Terri Nunn was in the movie, Thank God its Friday. Then Terri was in an 80′s new wave group called Berlin, probably most famous for Take my Breath Away; which was featured in the movie Top Gun, however, I was a huge Berlin fan (it was my first concert at Radio City Music Hall with the Thompson Twins)…I loved everything off the Pleasure Victim album and a few others as well. This is Terri:

I replied, but it was marked as spam and I’m not typing that shit out again. LOL Maybe they’ll repost it. Update: Thanks for reposting it, test :O)

  35. sandeep says:

she is looking different, even I am big fan of her voice and acting. she look amazing in any dress even this tatoo dress becuase she is a unique one for me.

  36. Sini says:

I LOVE the outfit but don’t like the hair (works with the colours though, heh). I don’t know if it’s for a movie or a joke, one couldn’t possibly dye their hair like that thinking it’s seriously cool if they’re over the age of 16. Again, with this outfit it’s kind of nice actually, but in day-to-day life, well if Drew can’t pull it off no-one can i guess.. She’d look way too ordinary-Hollywood being skinny and blond now if she hadn’t maintained that wacky sence of style!

  37. Anonymous says:

i love that dress; though, i cannot say the same about her hair.

  38. Anonymous says:

The dress is A-mazing…but the hair is A-trocious. Seriously Drew? I mean – if ya wanna go for the blonde & black hair…go for the CA version…k? :)

is the hair supposed to match the dress? anyway, its McQueen, therefore….its fabulous!

  41. elaine123 says:

Not necessarily…McQueen puts out some pretty horrific “fashion”. I know it’s supposed to be “avant garde”, but a lot if it is just ludicrous (IMO).

  44. anwashington says:

hair is horrible. maybe if it wasn’t so frizzy… or if the black layer was underneath. OR SOMETHING. Drew is so pretty, even though I think she looked cuter a few pounds heavier… But the hair completely sucks.

What was she thinking? She looks like alemon stuck in an oil factory.HATE it!

  47. Anonymous says:

Love the Alexander McQueen dress, the hair, ummm NO. She should have her hair simple like Ellen. Ellen has grown to be so pretty.

  48. Chelle says:

I couldn’t wear that hair style or dress. But I think it works for Drew and her personality. She takes chances and doesn’t care.
