Jessica Simpson’s Dog Has Gone Missing

NOOOOOO!!!!!! Jessica Simpson’s dog has been stolen by a coyote. The singer-and-actress has posted a heartfelt plea for information on Daisy’s whereabouts on Twitter after the pooch was swiped by the wild animal as she looked on.

“My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes, HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help! (sic)”

Jessica and her family have even mocked up a poster of Daisy – who is a malti-poo, a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle – in a desperate bid to locate her.

The document includes a picture of Daisy and a banner reading: “I miss my mommy, Daisy.” It details a special emails address so anyone with information can get in touch.

A neighbor of Jessica’s said:

“We heard yelling and screaming coming from the direction of Jessica’s house around 9pm. I can only imagine that it was that moment that it happened because the next day we saw posters up around the neighborhood announcing that Jessica had lost her dog to a coyote. It’s so sad.”

The 29-year-old star is said to be frantic with worry that Daisy has been eaten, and is now struggling to eat or sleep as she waits for news.

Oh no! This is so sad! As a dog owner, I couldn’t IMAGINE something like this happening to my babies. :(

Where does she live for that to happen?

I am so sorry Jessica. I don’t know how are dealing with this. Daisy was like your child. Like another post said, this is way worse than any breakup. I have a dog named Bella who looks EXACTLY and I mean EXACTLY like Daisy. She is a Maltese/Yorkie cross. I held her tighter when I found out. I am PRAYING for you! You are such a beautiful and strong person. You are lucky to have the family you have because they will help you get through anything. God Bless <3

Hi, welcome to reality. You’re new here, no?

  10. Danie says:

Because obviously Pit Bulls are the only dogs that will ever attack anyone. Ever. If only you could see me rolling my eyes at your ignorance.

  11. Danie says:

My heart goes out to her. If something so tragic happened to my dog, I would be at a complete loss.

  12. Anonymous says:

OMG, how horrible. I’m so sorry that this happened. THat poor dog and poor Jessica.

  13. Annon says:

I feel bad for her! Losing a pet is like losing a kid. And knowing a coyote stole your dog has got to be awful! There really is only one conclusion when that happens…

  14. wildcats says:

How terrible to witness :( I hope she doesn’t rush out and get another dog to replace Daisy.

  15. Anonymous says:

Awwww man this is sad :-< The dog has probably been eaten. I’m not the biggest Jessica fan but I know she loved that dog so much. I think Nick got her the dog:-<

  16. DaleJuniorAmp88 says:

Oh, no! This is so sad… I know Daisy’s chances are nil, but I’m hoping that it had a fight in it, and somehow got away… I hope Jessica stays strong though, since as others say it’s like loosing a child. :(

  17. Monica says:

That is sooooooo sad. I’m so sorry Jess! I am hoping for the best! Right now, my little one year old tuxedo cat has been missing for almost two weeks. He is quite the explorer, so I have hope that he is going to come back! I love him to death. He is like my child, and my heart aches for him to return home everyday.

  18. DonnaJ says:

    How terribly tragic :O(

  19. Jessy D22 says:

  20. Wonder_Woman says:

okay seriosuly?!I dont have a pet dog but if I saw my cat being grabbed by a coyote best believe id get my sword and get my ninja on. HELL NA! She coulda done something

  21. anniedawg25 says:

that is horrible!!!! daisy went everywhere with her…..wasn’t she a present from Nick when they were together? I grew up in New Mexico….we’d have cats disappear all the time due to coyotes, but I’d never witnessed one take them. that’s just so sad :(

  22. Vedder says:

I have a Yorkie girl 1 year old–I take a Swiss Army Knife with us everytime we walk/run–if any loose Pit Bull of thug dog comes near her, I will Tarzan their ass and rip their throat out.

  23. hunt111 says:

Some of you are being very harsh. My dog was attacked by a hawk 3 feet in front of me. Things like this happen whether you are right there or not. Luckily my dog made it. But if my head had been turned, I would’ve never known what happened to her.

  24. Anonymous says:

Jessica called her dog a lesibian dog. Its so sad that Daisy is gone. I hate to say it, but I think that she’s gone. A coyote ate my animals and they were just babies.

  25. JesseD says:

This site has gone downhill so much since I first started reading. Not the posts, but the disgusting, classless commenters. “Bloody tampon”, how necessary is that? Your mothers should wash your nasty mouths out with soap and take your computer privileges away from you until you learn how to behave. As for the Jessica’s dog? That’s awful. I can’t imagine watching something like that happen right before your eyes.

  26. bgduckie_01 says:

    that’s so sad :(

  27. meg says:

so sad, you are in my thoughts and prayers

  28. meg says:

  29. C. says:

Just flag the disrespectful garbage and eventually they will either have to grow up, knock it off or leave. Win-win really :)

  30. Anonymous says:

You are one to talk JesseD, on the Taye Diggs post you called another poster A-hole and said the F word……yeah that’s what I thought.

  31. DonnaJ says:

If everyone went around flagging what they considered “disrespectful garbage”, Vera would have no site left.

  32. Anonymous says:

Dude, what is up? You aren’t usually this angry in your comments. Did something bad happen to you?

  33. dyinggiraffe says:

    well said.

  34. Anonymous says:

Agreed – well said. A little shocked that someone would actually call the owner of a pet that was eaten by a wild animal a dumb b*tch (????) but it’s no surprise coming from this one.

  35. Gisela says:

You don’t agree with my comment and that is fine, we are allowed to have an opinion is still legal in the USA. It doesn’t make it ignorant asshat. My comment and feelings comes from the fact that I love and prefer pets over humans. I have compasion and human decency you dumb bitch don’t assume that you know me personally based on one comment you read. Maybe coyotes should take your dumb ass off into the wild.

  36. Gisela says:

Bitch please, if you are so easily “shocked” by what people write on the internet then I suggest you don’t frequent. Get a grip! Boo f*cking hoo! If you don’t like what I said, you bloody tampon call someone who cares. “This one” has a name, is GISELA, you dumb bitch! Get it right!

  37. Anonymous says:

And I’m pretty sure you won’t see the irony in your responses. Idiot. I don’t assume to know you personally, all I know about you is the opinions you deem the rest of us worthy of reading. And they speak for themselves to what kind of person you may or may not be.

  38. Gisela says:

If you don’t like my opinion don’t read it then…you see how simple that is? you stupid bitch. I don’t read everyones post. Idiot? it takes one to know one. F*ck off tampon.

  39. Anonymous says:

Compassion and human decency are not top of the list of qualities in ANYONE who throws around the words “dumb b*tch” and “*sshat” the way you do. Think about it for a second. Everyone is allowed to have an opinion – but apparently you don’t agree with that, even though you throw the thought around.

  40. Gisela says:

Wait a minute, so what you’re saying is that ANYONE who curses has no compassion and decency? that makes for EVERYONE then. EVERYONE has cursed at one time or another. So you have never cursed? OMG!!!! I’m speaking with Jesus Christ!!…I’m so sorry my lord for the last post. I apologize to you, please help me lord understand human decency and compassion. I didn’t know I was in the presence of such perfection. People who curse don’t have human decency or compassion….OK is good to know.

  41. Anon. says:

  43. Anonymous says:

    ………….CALL “ACE VENTURA”, pet detective!!

  44. Gisela says:

This dog looks like my dog Chloe!! sorry to say but Daisy is dead. If a coyote took her he didn’t do it because he was looking for a mate. I blame Jessica for this she is such a dumb bitch, she should have been more vigilant with her baby. When you live in an area where coyotes are known to roam, you have to keep your pets safe. Pets are like your own children.

  45. CapturingLife says:

Pets are like children and as such, things can still happen no matter how hard you try to keep them safe.

  46. Anonymous says:

When coyotes are forced from their habitat into populated communities, it’s not uncommon for them to come right up to the door of a house. They lose their natural fear of humans, and they’re called “opportunistic predators” for a reason. Leashes and fenced in yards are no obstacles, and often just prevent a loved pet from escaping. It’s so sad that Jessica lost Daisy. At this point, people placing blame and making ignorant comments at Jessica’s expense should stop and examine their own lives. You’re way out of line and need a reality check for compassion and human decency.

  47. Anonymous says:

What a hostile moron. Pets, like children (or any sized human, for that matter) cannot always be kept track of. Judgemental *sshole.

  48. hunt111 says:

That’s pretty harsh. The dog has to go outside to pee at some point.

  49. Ladylala says:

HAHA! Why is everyone calling this dog a lesbian? I’m confused.

  50. tbtrfli says:

    I. Can. Not. Imagine… I bet this is worse than ANY stupid break-up!

  51. Riviera says:

Lesbian dog? WTF? Vera, I’m surprised this is coming from you. Unless you’re not the one who wrote this piece?

  52. C. says:

This is heart breaking! What an awful thing to witness. What an awful way to die. That poor little innocent creature. It is sooooo sad :(

  53. C. says:

No kidding…WHAT??? Did someone get a little crazy with the cut n paste this am???

  54. ummmmmm says:

    lesbian dog?!? whattt/??!

  55. Anonymous says:

    Lesbian dog?

  56. elaine123 says:

Where is the reference to a lesbian dog? I don;t see it.

  57. Anonymous says:

As a huge animal lover – this is so sad. All dogs go to heaven! Poor thing. I can imagine how upset Jessica must be. Pets become more than that to people. They become a part of the family!

  58. Trinny says:

My gosh. I would just die if that happen to my dog!! But sorry to be a pessimist but if it was last seen in a coyote’s mouth than the changes of it still being alive is hella slim.

  59. Gisela says:

LOL!! you are calling me a judgemental as*hole?…LOL!! what is that you are doing then?….fuck*ng moron!

  60. Anonymous says:

It’s kind of funny when the tough-as-nails commenter makes it so completely obvious that the nail’s been hit square on the head.

  61. Gisela says:

    Tough-as-nails…thanks I’ll take that as a compliment….LOL!!

  62. dyinggiraffe says:

you’re trying to wrack up your points, aren’t you? :)

  63. Gisela says:

    OK, you got me…LOL.

  64. Gisela says:

Yeah is true, the dog was probably using the bathroom. I get upset when pets are hurt, dogs and cats are innocent, and sometimes owners can be neglectful.

  65. Anonymous says:

Not keeping an eye on a pet 24/7 is not the same thing as being “neglectful”. It’s called life. Apparently something like this would NEVER happen to you which is why you feel so comfortable talking down about someone less fortunate instead of being full of, what did you say? Human compassion?

  66. Gisela says:

You know what? You are right, I don’t have human compassion Dr. Phil please help me find it? Why don’t we get together, you braid my hair and teach me all about life, then ater we can go for a walk and skip thru a beautiful field of flowers. Teach me about this foreign thing called human compassion and human decency and life. I don’t know those things because my life is perfect. I don’t know about tragedy and pain and hurt. Those things are foreign to me! OMG how will I live and go on? Help me please!! teach me all knowing and wise person teacher of human compassion and decency.

That is seriously very sad! I cant even imagine what I’d do in such a situation. If you’re dog owner, its the worst thing that could happen to you. Bad enough that your dog is missing, but the worst part is imagining your dog being eaten up by a wild animal! its grotesque!

  85. OMG! This is very sad for any dog owner. It must be really painful to keep remembering your little darling and then imagining it being eaten up! It gives me the goosebumps to even think of such a thing!

  86. ardit121 says:
