Kanye West's Full Apology On Jay Leno

Are we still talking about this? My goodness - the man has never gotten so much press for anything!

Last night, I told you that Kanye West was scheduled to appear on Jay Leno's nighttime talk show. In case you missed it, here it is. Kanye is really really sorry about what he did to Taylor Swift. I'm really really sorry I keep posting about it. However, I will say that I watched the video and I believe that the rapper is truly sincere. I think he realized he made a mistake and we are all human in the end.

Kanye promises to take some time off which he obviously needs.

well, I THINK HE IS "FINISHED" NOW.
(although americans hate it to tell the truth)

If you have such distaste toward Americans, stop visiting this American site about celebs primarily in the US. Don't read this site, then make such general statements about our society; it just makes YOU look like a fool.

Kanye...yadda, yadda, yadda. STOP being such a jerk & put down the bottle it brings out more of the jerk!

I have to comment! That apology was so full of sh!t. He was drunk!
Pure and simple, he was DRUNK. He drank just about a entire fifth of Hennesy while making his way down the red carpet and into the venue. I would have respected him more if he admitted he was drunk, he did a stupid thing while drunk and tell kids that is why you should not drink you will make a fool of yourself and hurt others.
I CALL B*LLSH!T

I can't believe he was drinking straight from a bottle like that on the red carpet. Classy!
I think he wanted all this attention. He's a little attention-whore.

Every time this guy makes an apology for something stupid he did, there's always an excuse attached to it. Yeah, that makes for such a sincere apology...

Wow ya know even though what Kanye did was wrong and rude i really don't think it was tasteful of Jay to bring Kanye's dead mother in this i thought that was actually kinda mean to do and bring up and you could see the hurt in Kanye when Jay said that i mean he made a mistake he has done it before he will probably do it again he is just a human like you said and i really wish people would move on from this

Gisela Gisela said:

Maybe he really means it this time, maybe this is his "rock bottom". I don't think he ever truly grieved for his mother and is very angry at how his mother passed. He does need to take some time and go away.

Yea, he needs to go away. The rest is BS. He was a jerk before his mother died. Lame excuses...blah, blah

Typical Kanye. Shows his A$$ and then thinks he can offer up a fake apology and all is forgiven. I for one don't buy into it. He is a genuine jerk and needs more than time off - he needs to be banned.

I KNEW his dead mother would get thrown in for pity. I KNEW it before it came out of Jay's mouth. Kanye never apologized the other times he disrupted awards shows because there wasn't the total backlash like there was for this incident. He's a jerk.

i think kanye's ego got the best of him (again), and now with such a huge negative reaction it's taken him down a notch where he belongs.

Too late. He has gotten away with this kind of stuff for too long, he is so full of himself he thinks he can do what ever he wants. He went too far this time. Goodbye dirtbag. I wish everyone would stop buying what you sell.

I thought it was really great that Beyonce offered her acceptance speech time to Taylor. That was a very sweet and gracious thing to do.

When I saw him on Leno I was actually angry -- why would Jay even allow him to make this half-hearted apology? Why are people cheering him and saying how they love him? And then when Kayne blames it on not coping with his mother's death....? Please correct me if I'm wrong in my interpretation of that -- but saying the hurt that he's never dealt with caused him to do this...? Finally, saying he's not going to try to justify what he did...makes you say Hmmmmmm.

Gisela Gisela said:

I think he never did deal with his mother's passing and held it in. All that pain has cause Kanye to become angry, I think that is what he meant.

he seemed sincere and all but that isn't his only problem. the guy called himself a celebrity like 3 times in 3 minutes...he has a HUGE problem with his ego, and that's why he keeps doing the stupid things he does. get the ego out of the way and he may be able to actually be contrite and sincere...and sorry
