Gucci And Mary J. Blige Celebrate The Foundation For The Advancement Of Women Now

To benefit the Foundation For the Advancement of Women Now, Inc. (FFAWN), Gucci and Mary J. Blige celebrated September 16th as Gucci for FFAWN Day in New York. Gucci donated 10% percent of the day’s sales from its New York 5th Avenue Flagship store to FFAWN.

Gucci toasted the evening with a private in-store cocktail party co-hosted by Mary J. Blige with guests including Alicia Keys, Estelle, Devon Aoki, Leigh Lezark, Serena Williams, Mark Ronson, Donald Trump, Russell Simmons and Lebron James.

In honor of Gucci for FFAWN Day, Mary J. Blige hosted a lighting ceremony at the Empire State Building earlier in the day to light the world-famous icon in FFAWN’s colors—purple, yellow and white.

I always love to find out the meaning behind the Empire State Building's colors.

I'm with you on Mary, but Serena, got to differ with you on that one. Her recent display at the US Open was a disgrace. SHe's a great tennis player, but a graceless arrogant thug otherwise.
