Paula Abdul Talks About New Ventures

Paula Abdul was seen fooling around outside her hotel in New York City Thursday afternoon. Paula pranced around with a prop cane before hopping into an awaiting SUV to take her to the taping of VH1 Divas. Even though the 'American Idol' judge has moved on, people are still asking her for comments about the reality singing competition. While calling into the Johnjay and Rich Show on KISS FM Phoenix, the DJs dug in:

On how American Idol will feel now that she's gone:

"It's just going to be a different show.

On breaking down after she lost her job:

"I think that happened during the time I was making that difficult decision [to leave], where I was fighting with myself back and forth" Abdul admitted. "Am I willing to go against what my beliefs are and have the same outcome?"

On her post-Idol plans:

"I am doing so many things, I can't wait to tell you," she said. "I see myself...such a big part of what I've been doing is helping other people realize their dreams. I've only scratched the surface of things I want to do. I'm going to be producing my own shows -- not just in America. I'm going to be creating a show in Vegas. Pretty soon I'll be announcing some very exciting stuff with a network and production company," she said. "So I'm actually getting to do all the things that represent who I am. People have no idea."

We have no idea who Paula really is? I can't wait to see what she is really all about then! :)
