I’ve always wondered if people, like teachers, who knew more outrageous celebs when they were younger ever have a reaction to their antics. Lady GaGa (real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta) attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart girls’ school in New York City. Someone showed the nuns who teach there a video of her VMA performance.
Said one source, “When someone showed the nuns a video of her bloody performance at Sunday night’s VMA Awards, the good sisters were not amused.”
The NY Post called school officials, but the call was not returned.
Of course, celebrities can’t live to please former schoolteachers, but I’ve wondered about their reactions. I guess Lady GaGa doesn’t have to be concerned about being asked back to speak to students on Career Day

Lady Gaga got really lucky with timing.. everyone is sick of pop stars who dont know music that well and cant make up their own songs. She is just like any other professionally trained pianist who just wrote her own songs. She accidently got trashed in the NYC club scene ( not the best place to be for someone with a brain) and has a nasty enough personality to get through the doors.
Her style is a display of support for designers and contemporary art more so to hide her physical short comings ( shes not a beauty queens look at her face). Shes a hard worker and an excellent performer but her image and importance of it gets blown out of proportion… shes trying to mix up previous rock stars like elton john prince and freddy mercury, but she has to understand that she isnt them and if you listen to her interviews ( unless she really is putting up a stupid act) she is trying to pull of the ” im all original funky cool personality” but she isnt because she doesnt say anything smart and revolutionary she tags onto to the subject of sex as her confidence base and thats been over played so many times. She pushes the envelope too much with a claim towards extreme originality, but if you think of it there are so many ppl who are very talented in music and art but they stay grounded and dont become hypocrites who say that they are just about the music and dont want fame. She keeps stressing in her interviews that shes not here for the record sales and strictly for the music, you get what u work for and what u want, if she didnt want this she wouldnt have it.. its what she wanted and strived for …. she has absolutely no personality base its very fake, ppl are just amused right now by her core talent that we dont often see in someone so pop oriented. But i wouldnt be surprised if she ends up on drugs and in a mess… she has no values at all. You cannot live ur life in a personality that u put on when u perform its two different things ( i am a dancer myself) , thats how those celebs get bumped and hardly dig themselves out of the mess. That’s what I was thinking too…surely they weren’t expecting the nuns to say how proud they were of their former pupil and the way she’s turned out. I don’t like the persona she puts out there, but I do think she is very talented. She has a great voice.

I disagree. She may be a lot of gimmick, but there is definitely a lot of talent there. I can’t for the life of me understand who thought it would be a good idea to show her performance to the nuns at her former school. Obviously someone looking for a pointed response.
