Jennifer Garner Is A Classic Mom

Jennifer Garner’swants to make sure her children don't just sit in front of a television all day long. The ‘Invention of Lying’ actress promotes a variety of activities for Violet and eight-month-old Seraphina to do alongside her husband Ben Affleck.
Lynda Obst, who produced new movie ‘The Invention of Lying’, revealed:
“Most of the time that I did spend with her when it was off-set, Violet was cooking with her, or reading Jane Austen, or doing one of these remarkable things that Violet tends to do.
“She encourages her kids to be independent. And at the same time not television watchers. Readers. Thinkers. She is kind of old-fashioned. She is a very classic mom.”
Jennifer, 37, admits she struggles to juggle her career with being a mother, but tries her best. Speaking at the Hollywood premiere of the movie, she said:
“Every day, you feel like you are off-balance one way or another. You just take it one day at a time. I don't think anyone has it properly figured out.”
Ricky Gervais - Jennifer’s co-star in the film, which is about a world where nobody lies until one man decides to shake things up – claims being a parent has also affected Jennifer’s vocabulary.
“She is ‘Miss Goody Two Shoes’. When she swears, she says things like 'dang it' and 'darn'. Her favorite swear word is 'rats'. That's not a swear word!”
Oh rats! LOL - we should bring that back.

ATTENTION kids: I just learned of a really easy way to rack up your points without much effort. Vera just told me not to flag the duplicates. Per Vera,
So, cut and past away! I didn't want to keep this all to myself ;)

I LOVE Jane Austen! Good choice to read to her daughter! :-) She sounds like a great mom.

I love Jane Austen too. Have you ever read Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte? I read that book at least twice a year.

Oh yeah! That's another amazing book and author! I read Pride & Prejudice at least twice a year :-) I don't know if you've seen the BBC movie of Jane Eyre, but Timothy Dalton makes for a great Mr. Rochester.

I've just started reading Pride and Prejudice. :)
This is going to sound strange but the other day I saw an interview with Victor Gaber. Violet looks an awfully like him too. I am not saying that he is the dad, but while Violet looks like mom, she looks like him too (same ears too)
you're a freak

Violet looks like a perfect combination of Jen Garner and Ben Affleck. Victor Garber is gay. In case you didn't notice, Jen and Victor resemble each other quite a bit, which is probably part of the reason he was chosen to PLAY HER FATHER on Alias. What are you smoking?
she looks GORGEOUS

She seems like a good mother with her head on straight.
Reading Jane Austen to 2 year old Violet, Jennifer Garner is a pretentious twit.

That's right she SEEMS like a good mother but we see what she wants us to see, nobody knows what she's really like behind closed doors.

That's nice I guess. Seems like a normal mother for sure, and not some typical hollywood one.
She looks gorgeous there. Her makeup is flawless.
