Karina Smirnoff used to wear fur, but now the sexy star would rather wear just about anything else-or nothing at all! The Dancing With the Stars beauty bares all as she strikes a sexy dance-floor pose for PETA’s scintillating new ad campaign titled “I’d Rather Dance Naked Than Wear Fur.”
“I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine,” Smirnoff admits in an exclusive PETA interview. “But there are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel.”
What do you think about the new advertisement?
I don’t think one needs to take off their clothes and pose naked for an ad to prove a point. The point would be effective had she kept her clothes on. But whatever..
Yeah, but then you wouldn’t get to see her “skin”.

Wearing fur in cold climes for warmth is, I think, OK. For fashion, no.
But I agree, PETA is extreme in some of thier policies, and in, at least some. past actions against women wearing fur.
I agree with Karina and PETA that killing animals for fashion is unessesary and cruel.
Karina’s and Max’s break-up is their business, and how they or each of them choose to characterize thier present relationship or lack of relationship is also thier business. The self-rightious and judgemental among us are always circling like sharks at a feeding frenzy.

It is her nose. She had plastic surgery on her nose a while back because it was crooked and for breathing purposes also but I don’t think the surgeon did a good job:-<

Living in a cold climate myself, I see no problem wearing fur as long as a person is actually using it for warmth instead of trying to make a fashion statement. And I’m a complete animal lover…
