Love It Or Hate It: Emma Watson

‘Harry Potter’ star Emma Watson took a break from her studies at Brown University to return to London for Fashion Week. She attended the Burberry events, where she sparkled in this gold dress.

Emma is beautiful, but part of her appeal is her sense of youthfulness. She’s not 16-going-on-30, like a lot of Hollywood starlets, but she looks like a beautiful 18-year-old. There’s something almost coltish about her stance (which is totally adorable) in some of these pictures, isn’t there? However, I guess those shoes would make anyone look a little unsteady :)

I’m looking forward to watching Emma continue to mature! But for now, regarding the dress: love it or hate it?

I like it, but it needs a few more inches. It’s a little too short.

  8. xy mom says:

She either has an amazing natural fashion sense or an amazing stylist. She can do no wrong!

  9. mari says:

I would add about two inches to that dress. She’s a cute, grounded girl. I see she has a solid future.

  10. Nimbus says:

Love the dress, although a tiny bit longer would have made the proportions a bit more balanced, but hey… she has fab legs

  17. Monica says:

Wow, I bet no other student has such financial freedom to do that. Isn’t she going to miss class and fall behind though? A lot of classes require attendance which is built into your final mark.

  18. Artemisia says:

Love her shoes and make-up but not feeling the love for her dress…

  19. Anon says:

I like the dress and the shoes. I think in Hollywood women use too much make-up but in Europe they like natural makeup.

  20. Anonymous says:

a tiny tiny bit short. But absolutely LOVE!

  21. CapturingLife says:

She always looks fantastic. I love this! ;)

  22. KissKiss says:

I LOOOOVE gold. But the (fashionable?) zipper makes it look like she’s wearing it backwards.. Maybe it would look better with a fancier looking zipper and worn by someone with bigger boops

  23. DonnaJ says:

I love Emma, but the dress is not flattering on her at all. Love the shoes though.

  24. Manimal says:

She always gives me a boner. Loving those heels!

  25. DonnaJ says:

    LOL!

  26. xy mom says:

Ah ha ha ha ha ha!

Emma has grown up beautifully, along with the rest of the cast of Harry Potter, and I love the natural, age appropriate look she’s got going on. No offense, but the female stars here in America always look too made up and if they’re under 18 they try to look ten times their age. What is wrong with holding onto youth? They want to look older when they are young and younger when they are old. Maybe try to hold onto being young a little longer. European stars, on the other hand, a lot of the time, look natural and fresh, and wear clothing fitting their age range.
I love the dress, but that zipper looks a bit awkward. I also have some shoes like that, so I love those. They make your legs look much longer.
