Natalie Imbruglia is “scared” of being single. The ‘Torn’ singer admits she is still adjusting to life alone after splitting from husband Daniel Johns in January 2008 and isn’t sure if she is ready to start dating again.
“I’m a bit scared of being single and scared of getting into another relationship, but I’m married to my work right now.”
So many artists are 100% committed to their craft right? It makes having a relationship that much harder.
Despite her marriage ending, Natalie and Daniel remain close and she was delighted to enlist the Silverchair rocker’s help on her forthcoming album ‘Come To Life’.
She added to Look magazine:
“He did some beautiful work on the record. He’s a very clever boy.”
Natalie, 34, recorded most of the LP as her marriage fell apart, but she insists the separation isn’t the inspiration for her songs.
“It’s weird because I know people will read into some of the new songs, particularly ‘Scars’, but I wrote that when I was in quite a happy place a few years ago.”

you come alone to this earth…you die alone…so…the time in between you can also be alone.

i know this is stupid…but i am 23 and scared to be alone! so being 34 it must be scarier (not that i think it should be…just with the expectations of society, the media etc) …but Nat shouldnt be worried! she is the most stunning woman (imo) and she seems lovely and down to earth…
Believe it or not, it actually gets easier as you get older…at least it was for me. You grow into yourself more, trust yourself more and feel more confident. You’re not stupid at all.
I’m 22 and have a boyfriend of a little over two years, but I’m not scared of being single. I am strong on my own with or without a man in my life.
