Fact Or Fiction: Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Building Their Own Air Strip

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are doing everything they can to avoid the paparazzi. The NY Post is reporting that the pair are building an airstrip next to their property in France so they can come and go without tipping off the press.
The rumor is the couple is purchasing surrounding property around the Chateau Miraval estate so that they may have their very own runway.
"One thing he loves about the estate is the privacy it affords. Nobody can get near it. So with Angelina completing her pilot’s license, their own airstrip would give them total freedom to come and go."

This could very well be fact. An airstrip at your house isn't a big deal. I know lots of pilots with one. In fact, the fella giving my son flying lessons has one. Grass, cement, whatever - no biggie. LOL

I was about to post the same thing? They don't own it so why would they buy surrounding property for an airstrip? Why don't they just take a big bag of money and set it on fire?

It makes sense - Angelina is finishing up her pilot's license and what else could she use it for other than flying a plane that is theirs?
They only leasing the property so it wouldn't make sense to add an airstrip. I thought Angelina already had her license. She's been flying for years. If Angelina loves attention so much why aren't there pictures of her every single day? Why doesn't she go to movie premieres (she doesn't even attend all of Brad's), openings, fashion shows, etc where there's plenty of cameras?
Agreed. I was just thinking...Where have they been! I miss looking at this beautiful family. Don't see them much at all. We see JA everywhere! Where are all the critics complaining about that? Such hypocrites. As far as building an airstrip, so what! They wouldnt be the first nor last, relax people. You need so many flying hours and have to get licensed for a reason, not anyone can just get their pilots license on a whim. Plus, she's been flying for awhile. I know some people cant relate to a woman so bad ass, who wears many hats and wears them well. Thats their problem. She is quite fascinating, nothing boring about her. Haters will always find something petty. Rock on Angie!

But what would the legal issues about this, in terms of flying from abroad? If someone did want to do this, what about passport control customs etc?

fiction. i can see them doing that in the u.s. but not over there. i believe they are renting that chateau so i dont think they can do that even if they wanted to.

How much land do they own over there? How can no one get close to it? Wouldn't people notice planes coming and going? (I have so many questions!)
I am wondering how Shila has already lost a tooth. I know this is nothing to the with the article but she is only 3-4 years old. My son lost his first tooth recently and he is 6 years old. I just thought it was strange.
